What's ifs!

So I have one day left before surgery....today I had 4 really soft pieces of broccoli...I'm wondering if it's gonna mess me up? I didn't wanna "cheat" I was staying strong but my family definitely doesn't make it easy for me to say no.

Living with my parents is also very frustrating...I know they're gonna support me but my dad (who has had the sleeve 7 years ago) is addicted to sweets. I refuse to be like him but he doesn't make it any easier because he brings snack cakes in the house weekly and my mom is terrible with bringing fried chicken in the house!

I'm working on moving out sometime this year but with my surgery Monday I'm freaking out...what if the broccoli messed me up! What if I can't take the Protein drinks everyday!!!

What if I miss being a big girl?

Serious thoughts that pop into my head!!!

Are you on a liquid only pre-op diet? I wasn't liquid only until the day before, you will probably be fine just don't eat anything else

I would be honest and let your team know.

Best of luck for tomrrow!

I agree that you should let your surgeon know.

It probably should not change anything, but only they can make that decision.

Good luck.

I found out that it's just liquids for this last day.

I've always been a rebel. lol

Let the MD know. Best to you. Sounds hard to be around your family right now.
