There is also a UK forum here, might be worth posting there too :)

The site has changed a lot in the past few days but it used to be that you clicked on the persons profile and added them as a friend.

Hope it works for you!

Hi lass where are you from in UK?

Glasgow here! [emoji16]

Hi. From the uk here. Literally just downloaded this app so no idea what the score is here yet.

I'm pretty sure everyone will go through the 'should I do this' stage. I've been back and forth about it for 10 months now. I have my final dietician appt tomorrow morning before he does the surgeon referral so I could be in really soon. I still can't make my mind up 100%

Hello shanieO

Where about are you from the uk? I am from Essex.
How did you get on with your dietician appt?
I had my dietician appt 2 weeks ago and was told I will be given a date anytime now between now and 6 months. When I was told at Christmas I would be given a date around the start of March that was only I actually said to surgeon outright when do you think it will be start middle or end of March .So been told different times and the end of the day worse case it will be 6 months.

Congratulations on your surgery.Glad to hear your feeling great after your surgery.
Did you have gas before your op as I get it every now and then at the moment so I don't get it everyday and this was one of the reason they wanted me to have a bypass as I have refused it saying that to me that is really serious op to far if you know what I mean by that.
Keep us updated on how your feeling .[emoji106]

Hi chucklecheeks

The only advice I can give is if like me I did not get much help from a dietician because I do not live near anywhere where they do the op. So I have had to look for help online I also follow a lot of people on YouTube who had this done and it's really helpful to know that what you are going through others have too!. I got really depressed in the first few weeks because I could keep nothing down but water due to a mix up of medications I was on preop and postop. But some people do get depression for a while because your body needs to catch up with your head and vice versa. I thought I had made a mistake in the first few weeks but now I'm so much better especially health wise. I was on 23 tablets a day for various things now only 6 and 2 of them are Multivitamins and iron. So don't get disheartened if things are hard it does get better. [emoji5]x
