  1. I don't get out to the rest of the board nearly as much as I used to; Sunsett, can you post puppy here too? It sounds like everyone is doing great. I'm trying to talk myself up and get out of this rut. I've been to the gym 4 times this week :target: I think I'm going to try to workout at home this weekend too; try to workout (cardio) every day. Today is a new day, and I'm going to make a concerted effort to eat better! I'm going to try to beat down the blues and decide to be HAPPY not matter how I feel inside!
  2. Breakfast: Slim-Fast Optima shake, French Vanilla Lunch: Something from Harry & Jeans downtown ... maybe soup? Dinner: Unknown at this time.
  3. I'm still fighting the moody blues I'm not as bad as I had been. I haven't had an uncontrolable, spontaneous Boo Hoo for a few weeks now :bananapowerslide:
  4. IMHO, I'd go ahead and have it done, even with your grandma coming ... but that's just my opinion. I'm sure it stems from me chomping at the bit to get a band
  5. I can't guarantee weight loss, but I'm managing 3-4 trips to the gym every week ... will that do?
  6. Our prayers go with you! You're doing to do great, and will be back on track in no time!
  7. OK folks, it's unusually quiet at work today, so I'm sneaking on when no one is looking. I too thoroughly enjoyed lunch on Saturday! John and I bowl on our church Winter league. I had the best series I've ever bowled in all my life. My high game was a 230 (295 after my 65 pin handicap)! I've never bowled that well before ... ever! I don't know if I'll ever be able to do it again, but it was a ton of fun!
  8. Happy Birthday! Can't wait to meet you!
  9. I plan on being there I'm ready and willing to bring Jennifer again too, if she can come.
  10. I love Pampered Chef's chopper
  11. I'm bringing Jennifer with me tomorrow
  12. Everyone, Sorry for my conspicuous absence. I've had something going on every evening since Sunday, and going through this Sunday. I need a vacation from all my extra activities :girl_hug: I'll definitely be there tomorrow, and hope everyone is doing well. I don't have the time I used to have on the board Oh well, at least I have a job.
  13. Jennifer, I'd be glad to pick you up and bring to tomorrow. I'll e-mail you later today for directions to your house.
  14. I got an encouraging e-mail from Dr. K's Nurse Practitioner yesterday; she wrote: "We do have 2 other patients that are getting close to the submission process but we have not submitted them yet. I will keep you posted. I will touch base with you in 2 weeks just to keep you updated." I'm caught up at work for now and asking my new boss for things to do. I'm going to go nuts if I have to sit here all day trying to look busy without truly having enough to do. Talk about a long day! I'm still dealing with the depression, but think the Lexapro may be starting to help a little? It's really too soon to know for sure. I hope everyone has a happy & healthy Thursday
  15. Congratulations! I'm glad you were able to get things worked out!
  16. OK, so who hasn't either been sick or had a sick child over the last two weeks? There's so much crud going around! It's been 4 weeks since I talked to Justina at Dr. K's office. I'm going to drop an e-mail today and ask how "we're" coming. I don't think contact every 4 weeks is unreasonable. Now that the holidays are over, I'm hoping his next patient is getting the ball rolling!
  17. OK, weird stuff happening. I'm on the NC thread, and when I try to click on the 6th page, I pop over to "Introductions" and a post from 7/21/03? My work desk is very conspicuous; so I'll largely post from home, and thus will likely be on here less I hope everyone is well! I look forward to our lunch I can't tell that the antidepressant is doing much; so per dr's orders I'll bump the dose this evening.
  18. Wow! Now that's inspiring! Congratulations!
  19. Pat, I'm right there with you. My husband calls me a "fair weather rider". He doesn't care what the temps as long as it's sunny and not excessively windy.
  20. Angie, I'm glad you're recovering well! Aunt Flo came to visit yesterday, after being gone for over two months. On top of that, I'm coming down with something. I'm achy and running a low grade fever. I have little appetite, but otherwise I haven't had any other symptoms, so I'm not sure what's going on. I came home from church and went straight back to bed for a couple of hours. I hope everyone else is doing OK.
  21. So we're close to a baker's dozen? Woo Hoo! I'll celebrate that
  22. OK Kathy, when you get done, you wanna come do my house?
  23. Angie, God Bless and good luck! I'll say a prayer for an easy surgery and quick recovery!
