  1. Magic, I'm praying for you lady!
  2. Our prayers continue to go with Curtis, you, and your husband. We love you!
  3. Now that's a burp!
  4. 1. Take deep breathes! 2. Put down the Kisses and step away from the bag. 3. Give them to a child in the neighborhood. 4. Quit being so hard on yourself! 5. Try some sugar-free chocolate favored syrup in coffee for a quasi-mocha drink. Hang in there; you're doing great!
  5. That's awesome! Congratulations!
  6. I'm right there with you; I call at least every 2-3 days. My problem isn't the insurance company yet; my Dr hasn't gotten my packet out. Although I have to admit that I keep having tests that end up further supporting my surgery. Every time it's close to going out, another test result comes into my surgeon's office.
  7. That's interesting. I'm certainly no expert, but I've been under the impression that the band was meant to be permanent ... sort of like breat impants?
  8. I called my insurance; they have yet to receive my letter. I've left a voice message with my surgeon's office asking for an update. I don't mean to be impatient, but cannot wait to hear something!
  9. Congratulations! I hope to follow you soon
  10. Awesome progress; congratulations and keep up the good work!
  11. Congratulations on your surgery! I wish you a speedy recovery!
  12. Hi Kim! I hope you had a good Thanksgiving?
  13. Jennifer, you know I was trying to recruit you, but didn't quite make it in time
  14. I admire your desire to spread the love, but I wouldn't want the added pressure of everyone knowing I'm banded and watching every thing I eat. With that said if I were going to openly tell everyone who wanted to know, I think I'd type up and copy a description of the band, how it works, general guidelines, and why I chose it for myself.
  15. I have a harelip border collie mix named Merlin (pix attached). He's just over a year old, and very sweet. I'm cat people and never really wanted a dog, but John (DH) and I went to PetSmart one Saturday almost a year ago, and there he was. The momma dog didn't want him. He couldn't nurse cause the milk would run out his nose. He was bottle fed, and at 3 months no one had adopted him. He loves everyone, including my cats. I also have two cats. Peanutbutter is 11 years old, a long-haired calico. Coo is 7 years old, a gray & black tabby mix. Neither of them can stand poor Merlin, but so far we've been able to establish an amicable co-existence.
  16. OK lady, do you live on this forum or are we simply on the same schedule? I think you've been online every time I've been here. Happy Thanksgiving!
  17. Congratulations to all of you!
  18. Congratulations! I'm jealous
  19. Congratulations! I hope to follow close in your footsteps. I'm hoping for a date in January.
  20. Happy Thankgiving to you too! OBTW, I like you screen name.
