  1. I'm surprised that most people don't even know what size they are but I wouldn't have thought to ask had I not read about it somewhere. The size is just a guide so it's not an exact measurement of your stomach and the bougie sizes are usually only Millimeters different, unless your talking as 32 and a say 60 then it's def different.
  2. I have a 38 and I'm pretty sure that's all my surgeon will do too...it's what they have the most success with without issues. I've been A-ok since so I guess he knows what he's doing.
  3. Yay so exciting! Congrats sending healing vibes your way!
  4. I'm right there with you as far as the appetite and eating! I don't know about the stall yet because I'm only a little over a month out and I don't weigh that often...
  5. It sounds like you have a good support system and of course your moms going to worry she's your momma! Once it's over and she sees your ok she will feel better...it's natural! I wish you all the best!
  6. Water stinks! I can drink my shakes faster than water! Gotta do it though!
  7. Cute! Congratulations you little song writer you!
  8. I'm a little over a month out and I get 90 grams, 60 from my two shakes and the rest from protein rich foods, lean meats, cheese, eggs ect...
  9. I say big fat yes because your surgery is going to go great!
  10. @@wannaBthinsoon You can do it its no biggie! Make sure you alternate sides (Site areas)
  11. @@Lovebuggie I think you already know you need to drink more than that girl!
  12. They may just be spicy....your right just boil your own and add your own spices.
  13. Congratulations! Welcome!
  14. Oh and your lack of response better not be because your stuffing your face!!!! Stop that too! (I'm so bossy it's almost scary!)
  15. Do you have A FOOD scale? If not they are relatively cheap I have a digital on from Walmart it was maybe 20 bucks, a food scale and a food tracker are your friends!
  16. @@Lovebuggie I hear you. I have great restriction but I weigh out my food @ 3oz because that's all I can eat and I will eat it Almost all but leave a bite or two, wait.....and then in 15 mins if I still feel hungry I will eat the last two bites...I never end up eating them but I could if I needed to. Now you Are farther ahead than me so measure out the oz you can have and try that!
  17. Yay! I have BCBS Fed and it took about 8 days so don't get discouraged if it takes a little while!
  18. I got around 700 too. Don't worry about the lower numbers...worry about the high!
  19. Yep I agree with@@bobbyswife, drink some fluids, take some emergen-C and try to get some rest! You are probably run down from all the stress (which isn't helping you by the way ; )- ) If you think it's really going to turn into a cold get some Zicam! Good luck!
  20. I would think at your point you should be able to eat whatever you want..stick with the basics Protein first , wait your 30 mins before and after eating to drink,..ect. There are a lot of nice recipes online, Search for low carb that would be your best bet. Your 7 ish months out so your surgeon probably doesn't have a structured plan for you like they do in the very beginning...now you get to make all the right choices! ; )-
  21. Drink lots of water...lots! If you retain water take a water pill! Eat high protein and low carb! Did I mention drink water???lol!
