Bubbame, My mother raised two girls all by herself! My father was on the police force and never paid more than $80 a month for support. He missed weekends and birthdays. He was not there for us at all really. We still adored him he was dad. Your children love their father I know but you know what is best for them. I pray that your husband wakes up to see that His family is you and your children. When you get married you leave the parents and become one flesh. I know what it is like when you grow up and see a onesided relationship. Where Mama is the one you KNOW will be ther for you no matter what. I applaud you. My dad said (when I was 30) that he kinda thought in a way we would always be little kids( me and my sister). He apologized to us on Nov.9,1999( I was 30 and my sister was 27). He apologized for being a deadbeat dad. We forgave and just last year we can finally say that he is a better father now than he was when we were kids. OKay my sister bought the stuff from GNC and it is inot working for her. No significant noticable decrease in hunger. She takes 2 capsules a day. She is pretty mad at me for talking her into buying it :grouphug::mad:. She has been on them for 3 days:mad2: and it AIN'T working. It was 35.99 at GNC and it is called hoodia extreme I believe. I think I may have to give her the money back:money::bananajump::boxing:. I told her I heard about it being on 60minutes and she should definitely try it. It really is not working at all:ohwell:

Hey Yall! I have good restriction now. I am at about 2.8 or 2.9ccs. SOme days though I can eat alot if I wanted to but on the whole I am good. I have lost about 5lbs since my fill and now my body is in "time of the month mode". I am super tight. I get this way the week before my period but I always gain about 6lbs and the scale is going up as I type. LOL The great thing is that after my period I lose the gained plus somemore. Hopefully I will get down into the 280's! A girl can dream!!

The past 6 months since I have been banded have been wonderful. The most joyful part is coming to LBT and reading the posts. I have personal favorites on this site. I won't name them all but De Larla you are one of them. You have really helped me in accepting me. The weight, my birth defect, and just self esteem issues in general. You are My slumberpartyhostin'motorcyclin'mechanicalbullridin'whitegurlANGELinLasVegas! LOL I love ya! I wouldn't want that voice silenced. Some may be offended but to others you are their voice. My surgeon gave me a card to show at the restaurants and this year they gave me a card to show at the emergency room or anywhere that I may be in case something happens to me. It lets the medical staff know what type of surgery I have had so they can take precautions

I am glad that you know what the problem is. From what I have read most slips fix themselves after being unfilled. You have done great with the weightloss! You go! I am sure that when you go back next month your band will be back in place! BIg HUGSSSSS!

This was the 4th fill. I think I was about 2.0ccs and he put about .8 or .9ccs in the port. He said I was close to 3ccs . I feel like I did when I first got banded. I told him I wanted the same restriction that I had when I was banded cause the weight loss was steadier. That may have influenced the amount of fill. I also had to confess to drinking sweet tea! I love the stuff, but now I have to stop. I do use Equal now but it is just not the same. Pray for me!!! LOL When you get to around 2.7cc I bet you will feel it. They say it is different for each person. Maybe you may need less than 2.5 but more than 2.2. I think they like to sneak up on it. I am loving it. I went to a buffet with my sister and her fiance and I wasted their money. Went up twice to eat oysters on the half shell( about 8) and a handful of boiled shrimp. That was it!! I was stuffed and didn't eat over 4oz. Finally Restriction :cheer2:

Kathy I love You!!!! You said it all. Your Son is Blessed and you were blessed when God chose you to raise him. You see he was a flower in God's special garden. God wanted him to bloom on earth but had to chose special people who could only appreciate His worth. Oh man to be expertly taught all of the traits of a true human being and all you had to do was love your son. God is Love and he is well pleased!!!
