Hi and a ?

Hello,

I have been lurking again...I know...I was chastized for just lurking, but I had been busy, went on vacation, gained only 2 pounds from it(did a lot of walking) came back and was banded on the 24th. I am back down again and feeling ok physically. Just going nuts because I am on liquids until my post-op appointment on the 14th.

Anyway, I thought I had read on a forum(may have been this one) that Inamed has cards to give out to Bandsters to carry...is this true? My surgeon wasn't aware of this, but they are bigger on doing RNYs. Thanks!

Kristine

My surgeon gave me a card to show at the restaurants and this year they gave me a card to show at the emergency room or anywhere that I may be in case something happens to me. It lets the medical staff know what type of surgery I have had so they can take precautions

Welcome to LBT, grats on your banding & that's awesome to barely gain weight on non-banded vacation!! :target:

Hang in there on the liquid... the end is in sight! **whew!!**

Yep! I got a card. I also got a little walkman radio from Inamed for registering with them. I got my registration card in a kit that my doc gave me after surgery. Congrats & welcome to Band Land!
