Ambien
Stay away from that stuff!! It's addictive and it gives you the munchies. And it stops being as effective quickly and then you need more. ????????

How SAD is this?
I find this a little offensive. I'm a twig and I love it!! What's wrong with wanting to be skinny? I'm healthy and have so much energy. It's really a personal decision. What a person should weigh to be healthy is based on studies that show at what point weight becomes a factor in poor health and health risks. All the BMI is saying is that to be out of that risky zone, this is what you should weigh. It's not a looks thing. It's a health thing. And if your doing the surgery for the best health you can have, I would think this would be a concern to you. That said, it's widely discussed and known that BMI can be off because it's really about percentage of body fat. You can have low body fat and still be a high BMI. But because of your low body fat, you aren't risking health dangers. You are out of range, but no, your not actually overweight. Then again, with a low body fat, you may end up looking like a "twig". Although I seriously doubt at the upper end of that range you will come even close to looking too skinny. What I'm trying to say is put your health first. And there is every chance you will gain weight back in the further so it may be a big mistake to stop before you have reached a healthy weight.

Loose tummy skin
Yeahhhhhhhh. Sigh. I have no willpower. When I'm attracted to someone after, oh I don't know- I can hold out a month maybe. But I am dying to rip their clothes off! I'm a damn horny woman!!! Hahahaha. This loose skin things sucks but it's still better than being fat. I really hope I'll meet someone who doesn't care. I'm a whole package right?

Am I at goal?
I think I'm going to lose five more... Bounce range, exactly. Because I love where I'm at now and that will help me stay in it !

Am I at goal?
Babbs- for me at least there is a reason I've lost so much so quickly. Several reasons. For one, I was very ill for the first 6 months and only ate about 300 calories a day, if that!! Second, I was lighter to begin with. I had about 125 pounds to lose, rather than 200+. Also, I've always had a super fast metabolism. I used to eat well over 5000 calories a day. It is very surprising that I wasn't larger than I became!! My metabolism kicked in when I got the surgery and I just shredded the weight. So don't beat yourself up, please, if you haven't made goal yet. I'm an unusual situation.

Am I at goal?
I'm finding it very difficult to accept life at goal. I feel like I could still lose a little bit more before I stop. I've been getting a lot of comments on how thin I am, and I know there are parts of my body that are. But there are parts of my body that are not as well. I've been getting a lot of comments about how I'm so thin. I was told twice today that I'm so thin I may blow away. I don't think I look "skinny". I think I look normal. Anyway. What do you guys think? Without knowing the number- based on how I look. Am I at goal? Over it? Under it? Should I lose 5 more pounds? Be honest.

Loose tummy skin
Sigh. I'm dating right now and I'm really worried about the lose skin on my stomach. I have a flap that really bothers me, it's not hideous but it's there. The rest of me is pretty darn nice, just my tummy needs work. I'm so nervous about having sex with anyone new over this. I can't afford to have plastic surgery till next year but I don't want to wait to date that long! How important do you think it is that I have a perfect or at least, flat tummy?

Knowing my worth.
For all you single ladies out there, or ones in relationships that could be better... And even the married ones. This topic applies to all of us women who may have lost touch or never understood how to value ourselves. I've been doing a lot of thinking about self worth, what to look for in a potential partner, and how to make sure I respect myself and demand respect from others. When is was younger, I settled for men who were not good enough to be with. I did have standards for myself and I knew what I wanted in a man, but I never went for that. After a series of boyfriends who didn't respect me I settled for the first man to get serious about me. And that led to years of an unhappy and abusive relationship. Being overweight young, or simply struggling with insecurity, sets us up for bad relationship choices. As I gained weight my standards for myself and what I would put up with only got worse. There is a fear that one is not worthy of love from a high value person. Only the broken men made me feel comfortable because I was so insecure. I'm setting out to change this. I recently got into a relationship with a person far below my worth and dropped my standards for myself almost immediately for him. After surviving my 8 years of hell with my kids dad and losing all this weight, here I was again in the same situation!! This needs to end. I am creating a list of "standards" for myself based on how I want to be treated, what i will and won't do in a dating situation, the values I must have in another person and the reasons I deserve these things. I'm building a framework for my own worth and self confidence to keep myself reminded that in my search for a partner, there is a destination in mind. After losing so much weight I feel like a different person. I won't repeat the patterns of insecurity that ultimately led to my unhappiness and weight gain. I want to set the bar high and this time, no settling for less than Im worth in love and life. I know it's up to me to set the standards by which I'm treated!

Dating
I started dating about six months after. It was hard. I'm still dating and afraid of taking my clothes off because dressed I look perfect but my body is pretty flawed. Just have to find the right person I guess. I always think I have to be perfect. Be careful dating after surgery. It's easy to get in over your head because so much has changed.

Tummy tuck cost
Anyone had a tummy tuck? Can you tell me how much you paid? I'm getting increasingly upset about my stomach area and want to get a tummy tuck. I'm not sure how much money I need to save for one. I'm single and dating and it's nerve wracking to think a man might react badly.

I'm tired, this is hard, waaaaaaaaaa
Things are getting so much better. I elected not to have another dilation and wait it out. I've been able to hold down many more solids lately and my weigh loss has slowed considerably! I'm not throwing up as much and that's a relief. Going to just give it time. Thanks everyone.
