  2. Had surgery July of 09 had my first fill 6 weeks after surgery 2CCs minimal restriction Another 2CCs added a bit more restriction April 2012 1.5 CCs More of a restriction and may 2012 .25ccs major restriction. I currently have 5.75CCs in my band and am doing alright with restriction but i notice as time passes its like i lose that severe restriction feeling to more of an "ok" restriction i wonder if any one has that feeling i discribed or if its just me?!
  3. i do the xbox kinect game the biggest loser and its a combo of yoga, circuit training, and box fit training.I do it 6 days a week for an hour. Sometimes i take walks in the evening as well. Every one is different try different things and see what you like and works for you!
  4. Byetta i believe is an injectable medication for diabetes!
  5. Best of luck to you and your husband!! Sending well wishes your way.
  6. Dablockzprbabii on my fitness pal please feel free to add me thanks
  7. My NO LIST. soda breads no dry or doughy items salads pineapple porkchops steaks bacon Dry chicken These things i tend to stay away from not worth the pain from a stuck episode!!
  8. My stuck feeling consists of pressure in my chest alot of burping cant really talk and sometimes i have a little trouble breathing. Feels better when it decides to go down or come up if you know what i mean. Usually a stuck espisode is caused by oneself. Every time i get stuck its because i eat to fast or dont chew enough! Lately i have been precutting my meats to itty bitty pieces and it makes it easier to chew well in my mouth. Pretend you are feeding an infant so they wont choke where you are the infant!
  9. Mines isnt working on my computer!! I get on the website not signed in and it looks normal when i sign in with my username and password it doesnt look the same. Cant acess the chatrooms and the page just looks awful!!
  10. Yes! theres some days that i miss certain foods that i use to be able to eat that now i cant eat because they get stuck. As you progress further in your journey you will kind of get a feel for what you can and cant tolerate. Honestly im glad i cant eat bread and other high carb products after all they are what helped make me over weight! you do feel like you suffer a great deal of loss once you start getting filled and not feeling so hungry it will pass best of luck to you and just try to keep doing what your doing.
  11. Congrats and keep up the great work!!!
  12. Congrats even tho i dont know you this story has really touched me and inspired me and IM SOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU!!! Good luck and keep up the great work.
  13. Thats alot of money and time invested in your band. From your ticker i see your almost at your goal weight. My best advice to you if you do have a minor slip and do get emptied would be to use your will power and own judgement that you have devwloped thus far with your band to try and keep yourself from over eating and gaining weight back. i know its easier said then done I wish you tons of luck and im sending you possitve thoughts. xoxoxo
  14. I decided on the lap band because I wanted a more slower natural weight loss. I wasnt ready to let everyone know i had lapband surgery and once you have the bypass or sleeve the weight comes off faster then the band. Plus the idea of having my stomach cut, stapled and moved around made me feel uneasy. I have had my band since July of 2009 and i love my band!! it has been the best tool to use. I will admitt that i havwnt used it to its full potential as i have had a baby and gained weight but the beauty of the band is that theres no real failure if you fall off the wagon in terms of not loosing weight you can just restart it at any time! Hope this made sense to you. Please feel free to inbox me any questions you might have.
  15. I could drink soda until my last fill a month ago. I wanted a rootbeer so i had about a cup. Needless to say it was the most painfully pain i have ever felt. My stomach hurt so bad! Not worth the pain so i just stay away from soda all together.
  16. ughhh as of my last fill i have been too. This morning i had trouble getting oatmeal down!!! i usually just have an instant breakfast in the am more towards after lunch around 1ish i can start eating regular food.
  17. Good luck!! And as far as symptoms there the same as being unbanded i was lucky as has no morning sickness was just very tired n sleepy and extra hungry all the time!! Best of luck to you
  18. Thats great!!! Good luck to you!
  19. How did your appt go?!?
  20. I also ended up pregnant months after i was banded. I lost 40 pounds after surgery and gained about 30 back after giving birth. I also have a dialated edophogus which allowed me to over eat. Ive been back to my dr and recieved a fill bringin me up to 5.5 ccs. I also use my fitness pal to log my calories and do stleast an hour of exercise. Its sooo much harder this second time around but it can be done!! Ive lost 10 pounds since april 19th. I would love to keep in contact with u to see how you are progressing.
  21. Orginally no they wanted a band placement to check for a slip. Since i was pregnant and could eat full portions and then some they did the barrium study.
  22. i had one done too and it does taste pretty nasty and even nastier since its at room temp warm and gross!! Mines showed i have a dialated esophogus so it was well needed... Best of luck to you!
