I am dec 17 and on pureed foods....agree 1 bite to many and oh what misery. Down 18 lbs

Mine was early Wednesday morning.... the nausea is the worst and vomiting the incisions aren't to bad ...gas pains only 12 hours so felt lucky with that. When is everyone jumping on the scales

Nope been worried all day thank goodness I had to work lol .... good news a patient came into my lab with encouragement. Said she has the sleeve done 10 months ago and lost 110 lbs.

Everything is good here blood work tomorrow and then just wait to hear what time to be at the hospital. I am a little concerned about Fluid intake after surgery. I get muscle cramps at night because of dehydration and I am drinking 80 oz of Water a day now. I am filled b with fluid so take a blood pressure pill with a reducer in it doesn't make sense but nothing ever does with me lol. I am up in the middle of the night right.jow writing this because of a muscle cramp so we shall see

So excited surgeon appointment the 1st last NUT and endoscopy the 2nd.... and then surgery the 17th.... in the meantime going down to OC md after endoscopy and file for a marriage license..... could life get better. Looking forward to seeing and talking to others on our journey together..... for the post sleevers please keep us all in your prayers and I know you will be here for our support. I was afraid also that I would be denied however my surgery is next Wednesday. Listen to what they say, check out options, ask what the risks are, what the expectations are etc..... They will explain and you will have timto decide what to do or which surgery to have. Good luck

My phone call was to see if I would be willing to travel to Harrisburg which is only a hour away... of course..... they are saying if approved eith the 5 or 17 of december

I am from Hagerstown MD and got a phone call from my surgeon yesterday whom left a voice mail...... I was finished on Oct 23 and they said it would take 4-6 weeks for them to submit insurance and schedule. the date would be January/February of 2015 with the surgeon schedule.... HOWEVER I am to call back today and see whats going on. they said the had some surgery openings in Harrisburg PA (1 hour away, their home offices) for DECEMBER. So hoping that means I have been approved. We are getting married in OC on the beach in April so wanted to be able to look and feel awesome for this occasion. I do know of 1 person that has had the surgery and have several patients (I work in a lab) that have had it done. I have not heard one complaint about it. Keep in touch

Awesome..... waiting for my surgeon to call any day ..... was told if insurance approves will be December 5 or 17

Bought some today to try. ... i am post op and trying things to see what is best
