Hopefully it works out great for us both. I read and heard and he is a great dr, but not the greatest bedside, very blunt. Sometimes its better to be that way. I kinda got that from him when I did my console with him. I have last apt with nutritionist in am. Scared because I haven't been the greatest, have had a lot going on in last two weeks. Hopefully, all I can do is hope and pray!

I will be using Dr Schweitzer. Does it take that long to get a surgery date that they couldnt get it in with current insurance?

I live in Berlin, MD. I am traveling to John Hopkins. I have my last nutrition apt Friday then go in for insurance approval. I am going to have the sleeve done.

Great! I was at John Hopkins today to do my psych evaluation, and yes she is recommending me for the surgery! I also met with the dietician there and did my class. Now I just got to wait till next Friday for last nutrition apt, and then I can be submitted for approval!!! I cant wait.

I will be all done November 21, then I wait. I know people have had lap band done, but don't hear of many having the sleeve done, and looking for some local support.
