All you people do is complain...
Ahhh! YES! You're book is my bible! It's funny, because after being 300# for so long, I feel thin! But, then I'll see a picture and be like, "Oh - yeah, still fat!" And, sad to say it's now 229-230 - but I go for another fill today! Woohoo.

Massive re-Gain, it happened...
I am so sorry that that has happened to you. It sounds like you've had a rough time of it. Do you have any restriction at all? Can you afford one trip to a doctor to get a fill? My doctor charges $80/visit, not sure what the docs charge in your area. Is it affordable? Again, I'm sorry...we're here for you.

Oops...I forgot. I have to log off now in that case. I'll be back when I'm at goal. Damn! Then I'll be too skinny for other complainers. I guess I can't win.

I hate it when people post just to post.....
I don't think so. I don't think sushi is attractive. But that's just *ME*.

Anyone Banded 9/5/07 ?
Linda, What did the doc say? I've hit a wall. I'm at 229 and usually I "bounce" in my weight. In Feb I had gall bladder surgery and couldn't get a fill because of the healing. Well, in all of March I didn't drop at all. So, I go in for a fill tomorrow, but man...not losing anything has been frustrating. And, I'm not restricted as much and I am eating! I've been eating more than I should, and things I shouldn't! I know I need to get moving. Weather is getting nicer and I'm doing more yard work, but I am starting to get "the munchies" more than I used to (right after band, anyway.)

Right Side Pain 3 weeks post op
Call your doctor...sounds like gall stones. Have you had problems in the past with them? Either way...call the doc and keep us posted. Hope you're feeling better.

Argh! BF likes to take it from the dryer and dump it on the bed so that I HAVE to do it. And he thinks he's helping!?

- kids & bus stops
I am also on a corner lot, and I can't keep the trash out. I'm on the opposite corner of the kids bus stop, but that doesn't stop them from treating my yard like their own. Those candy canes put up at Christmas? Hey, dumbies, those weren't for you to play sword fight with! They were for the baby Jesus, damnit!!! (Okay, looking for lightening...) And the dog dumping! Uggg...I can't stand it! I clean up my dogs, why can't you people clean it up? In YOUR YARD. My solar lights that I put up have been target practice for the white rocks I have in my flower beds. I've been egged, thanks to bored teens over Spring Break, and TP'd...again, bored teens over Winter Break. I'm scared for summer.- This was the last straw
Yeah, sometimes I think places don't want fat people...Like when the tables are too close to the booths, or have the turn-style to get in. I think sporting events just want as many seats as possible so their seats are always sooo little! WTH? Most sports fans are fat! :Dancing_wub: So, yeah, there are tons of reasons, but that was my last straw. I haven't been to an amusement park since then, either.- Are We ready for a Black President?
I took it to mean that voting for someone because they are black is just as stupid as voting for someone because they are not. I took Watcher's post to mean that there are people who are saying, they are Democrats who want Hillary, but will vote for Republican McCain because they don't want a black president. ???- Are We ready for a Black President?
Actually, I'm trying to think of anyone in my personal life who has said that they would vote for a black man or a woman just because they are black/woman and I can't think of any. Does anyone know someone, or are you someone, that would vote for someone just because they are black or a woman?- This was the last straw
Mine was getting kicked off a ride at Knott's berry Farms. The seat belt wouldn't fit, and after standing in line for an hour, had to stand up from the seat (in that awkward, fat way) and leave. I heard people whispering, and my friend stayed and rode the ride. That was when I wanted surgery, but the bf at the time talked me out of it. Ugg, what a waste that was! But, then I moved away, started a new job that had good insurance and started looking into it again.- Are We ready for a Black President?
My problem with these statements is that I AM AMERICA. Today. Right now. In 2008 - Me, you - all of us in this country are what define America today. Not past generations, but us. I know that I don't owe any particular race ANYTHING except my respect. (And that is given only if the INDIVIDUAL is worthy.) I do not judge races as a whole. I do not owe anything. If the government were to PAY BACK any or all races that IT has offended over the years, then that would mean I would suffer. My daughter would suffer. You and your children would suffer. Money that goes to schools, roads, benefits, etc. - would be diminished severely. That's what I'm talking about when I say move on - go forward. Let it go. Reparations in ANY form would hurt this country. And, ultimately, all a country is made of is the people who live in it.- Broken Hearted Again---Help!!!
Kat - you nailed it when you said if he comes back, wouldn't you feel like a burden? Good point! I say, if he was a perfect fit, he'd have rolled up his sleeves and helped you. You are strong and able, and you put him to shame! Hang in there. It took me forever to find my guy, but he rolls with the punches - and my life is crazy! I'm always surprised to look over and see him there, just hanging on for dear life!! lol It sounds trite, but it's true: If it's meant to be, he'll rethink it and come back. If not, better that he just goes now and gives you time to find someone better suited for you.- All you people do is complain...
Mmmmmm...Margaritas! I haven't had one in forever! They're my fav - on the rocks w/salt. The other night I was craving a beer!? WTH - I hardly ever drink beer. So, I had one (we were at the bowling alley, so why not?) And it hit the spot. Really strange.- Pin up Shoto Shoot??
Bummer! I can't see them on my computer. I bet you look great, though, BBK!- This Is Embarrassing
Man! Add that to my list of PS to get later: Boobs, Tummy, Wings, Thighs, Butt - and now a Kitty Lift!- All you people do is complain...
dips are my downfall...I love chips and dip. Why does the bad stuff still go down so easily? :Dancing_wub:- All you people do is complain...
The one near Killeen, TX was awful. I went there a couple weeks ago w/my BF and his family. Everything came out cold - even the French Onion Soup that BF's mother ordered. When the manager came over he asked, "What do you want me to do about it." I gave him a look and said, "I don't know...what do you normally do about it?" Hello!? So, he said that the soup comes frozen (frozen??) and he would re-heat that in the microwave and the other food he'd make fresh for us. It was good the second time around, but still not HOT food. It was luke-warm at best. I usually like Applebees, too.- Stupid people and their stupid opinions
I'm the opposite...I tell everyone. If they give me a problem (which, for the most part hasn't been an issue) then I ask them if they've done their research. The answer is always "NO, but I have a friend who's mother...." Yada, yada... I tell people everything anyway...I'm always the way TMI person! :purplebananna: I think if I had a problem with people's responses, I'd stop telling them. It does get annoying with the, "Can you eat that?" questions, but I know they're just curious. I enjoy educating. Now, I've had several people come to me and say, "A friend wants this done. What do you suggest?" So, if by telling people, and handling the stupidity that comes with it, I can help others consult their doctors about it - then so be it. I love my band and can't help but share it.- Houston Docs
I used Dr. Jason Balette at the Surgical Group of the Woodlands. He's very personable and capable. I loved him! I also had to have my gall bladder out in Feb, and used him for that, too. He also has done all my fills so far, and it's in and out. No poking, no pain, he always knows exactly where the port is - he should, he put it there! - kids & bus stops
