  1. Oh I feel the same way as you, I hate food, hate makeing decisions as to wht my family is going to eat for dinner because the thought of food just doesn't excite me anymore. I can't stand foodshopping, seeing peopl epile food into their baskets, I can wander the isles for so long, nauseous just thinking about all that food. It is though liberating, all I used to do it think and pbsess about what I was going to eat, when I was going to eat it. I am glad I got my band, it has helped me so much with my weight loss.
  2. Treat it like acid, if that doesn't help call the Dr's office, there is always on on call they don't mind it if you call (trust me I call all the time)
  3. Glad to hear you got to sleep in your bed again. Very happy you are feeling better Talk to you later
  4. She's you mother, she gave you life, how often to children have the chance to offer "life" to their parents. To keep them around longer and living a healthier better life, I say let her read this entire thread, she'll see how lucky she is to have a daughter who wants to do this for her.
  5. Okreally tempted on this one Tell Your Children Over dinner. "due To The Economy, We Are Going To Have To Let One Of You Go."
  6. After having some dental work (under a lighter anesthesia) I woke up looked right at the Dr and said "is my makeup ok the Dr's hot" He responded, it's ok, then I relized what I said and to whom, turned bright red and promptly threw up on myself (how embarassing)
  7. YEs go ahead and start it, time for the full liquid part of your recovery....
  8. Great NSV's!!!! I'm very happy for you
  9. If you use Skim Plus milk 1 cup has 11 grams of protein (every little bit helps)
  10. You didnt strech your pouch, you're doing just fine, and as for the pills question from earlier, yes you can and should take them. Try to get in 64 oz of liquids a day, you will need to take your time at first Sip sip, sip if you feel pressure or anything backing up into the back of your throat....then...drink slower, you're swollen from surgery and it takes a second for the fluids to go through. By the end of the first week you'll be drinking like a pro...
  11. Dont make her laugh too much, it hurts right after surgery Glad to see you are up and about Leenerbups

  15. I can find liquid tylenol PM at almost any store, but as for normal liquid tylenol, never seen it. But the tylenol PM is amazing.
  16. I had had something similiar, if he leans on it, it is uncomfortable but not painful all it takes to go away if a little readjusting.

  20. I have always shopped at Lane Bryant or the Avenue for the past 20 years, today I went in and the smallest size fit me comfortably. I was sad though(weird because I always wanted to get out of that store) I talked to the sales girl who suggested I try NY and Co because their sizes go to an 18. I went there and bought a sexy top in a Large and pants in a large as well (ok they have a bit of strech in them but I didn't need the XL they carry) yay! This was the first time I have have shopped in a "normal size" store
  21. There is Isopure available at GNC
  22. I have always had Dr's tell me "your overweight you should lose some weight" :frusty: Well DUH ya think I don't know that already. They have to point out the obvious.
  23. Don't worry yourself too much about it, sad to say it probally will happen and you will learn from your expierences. The PB/Slime are what I consider a good "negative" re-inforcement of what I should be doing and I have learned from it. Just take it slow, learn your boundries and you will do just fine. Come to the Support group tomorrow night, we'll talk you through your fears.
  24. I wrote letters, bought a large life insurance policy, made out my will as well as my living will. I didn't want my husband to struggle with anything decision wise or financially if god forbis anything happened to me. The letters were to my 2 boys, a whole slew of them, for special occasions like graduation, marriage, birth of their first children etc.
  25. I met my husband online going on 11 years ago, we are going on 7 years being married, with 2 kids and we are as happy as ever.
