Keytones... are burned when you lose weight hence keytosis (sp) the smell that is omitted from your breath. It may be an annoyance while it lasts but at least you know you are losing weight when it happens.

I usually can gulp down water, however on occasion if I drink too fast I'll get all slimy. I guess my stomach pouch when overfilled with water thinks I have something stuck.

It is legal already for a woman to go topless in NYC ( or so I've heard) I'm not going to test that out alone though. Although plenty of people have seen my bare breasts in public ( I have my babies to thank for that, lifting my shirt over my head in public while I was nursing them) And WHY did a dirty old man ALWAYS have to sit right next to me every time in the mall when I tried to find a quiet corner to nurse in, I've been tempted to ask them "want some" and see their reaction. Oh well at least I am done with the bare breast nursing time in my life.

Congratulations on the NSV and the marriage. My husband and I renewed our vows at the drive through chapel while in vegas for your 1 year anniversary (now been married 6 yrs) and the Vegas wedding is more memorable than the old fashoned fancy schmancy one we had.

According to my Dr the pouch is about 15 cc's which is half the size of a GB patient! anyway it still streches so we can obviously eat more than 15 cc's worth of food. I can almost eat all of a lean cuisine meal about 7 -8 oz when I am in need of a fill as I am now, when i have restriction I can eat about half of one of those meals which is about 4 oz.

And My letter Dear Santa, I have been a good Girl. It really wasn't my fault what happened at Suzanne's Office party. It was Steve who spiked the punch with too much Water. I can't help it if I drank 26 glasses. It was so good---smelled and tasted just like peppermint. I thought it was funny when I put Vanessa's Sweater on my head and danced the Conga on the Sofa while singing `Boot Scoot and Boogie'. I didn't mean to break Suzanne's Vibrator and don't know why Suzanne would accuse me of Adultory. I don't remember calling Steven's wife a Pretty Cow---even though she looked like one with Brown eye shadow and Blue lipstick! And when I threw up on Kim's husband's Arm, it was only because I ate too much of that French Fries. After all that fun, I admit I was a little tired. So I fell asleep on my way home and drove my Avalanche through my neighbor's Attic. I don't think that was any reason for my neighbor to call me a fat Cat and have me arrested for Shoplifting! So, Santa...here I sit in my jail cell on Christmas Eve, all orange and thin. And I'm really not to blame for any of this tall stuff. Please bring me what I want the most---bail money! I live a few miles from Alexandra and I agree its not fun. Lots of sweaters, a fire in the fireplace, my remote starter is a blessing. I would be a pop sicle without it. But I love having all 4 seasons and love both the extreme cold as well as the hot days of summer. this is only the beginning for us, January and Feb. we get into the singe digits and wind chills of -0. Before my weight loss I never had to button up my coat I was always warm even sweating in freezing temps when I was 105 lbs heavier and now the cold gets to me a bit more, not the same insulation I was acustomed to... oh well I'd rather be cold and thin & healthy than big unhealthy and too hot. A nice warm cup of tea helps warm me up too. Hubby wont let me crank the heat this year it's set to 68. Personally I think we could afford to do 72 but I think he wants me to snuggle with him amongst other things.. Good luck at keeping warm

The Band is ment to be a permanent implant. If it is removed the restriction is gone and the weight will come back.

I got my approval from Horizion BCBS within 2 weeks.
