  2. Sorry you are having a tough time. I would call the doctor and discuss it with him. All the docs are different. I did not have to do a pre-op diet at all. Donna

  6. For me the 8000 dollars i spent was a lot...... of.... money. I am ready and willing to do whatever i need to do . When i want to eat for no reason i stop and askmyself what is really going on.Am i bored? Am i lonely? do i just need something in my hands?I make myself a cup of green tea and think about it.I never used to do that. I just ate and ate. Donna

  9. I am so glad i am not the only one who has an occasional meltdown.I am a supervisor at an emergency shelter for children and i hear some of the dumbest stuff. It helps to vent sometimes. Donna

  13. My cravings have gone away for the most part. For me now a binge is four sugar free popsicles at a time, not nearly as bad as two bowles of ice cream. I use to do that all the time before the band. I do not keep ANY junk food in my house and that really helps. Also i am single so i do not have to cook for anyone else, so i have a lot of things helping me. Donna
  14. That is a great question. My digital does the same thing, but i think my weight is actully going up and down a lot. I bought a really good scale.I think the changes are water. Donna

  17. I went to Mexico for surgery and everything went great. Great hospital and doctor.Best of luck Donna
  18. I had no real problems with recovery, but i was quite tired the first week. Also gas pains in your shoulder can be a little rough. I would want at least aweek off, but if you have pain meds you should be ok. Congrats on your date. I love my band.
