  1. I'm on the same boat darling! January when I started all my pre op stuff I was my highest 389. That number is going to forever be on my mind! Morning of surgery I was 359. Today 2 weeks post op I'm 338. I asked my surgeon if 200 was realistic since that was my goal, and he said yes. we just have to follow all the guidelines set forth and do our part - remember its just a "tool" Best of luck girls! I think we can do this! I want to be 160!!
  2. All that makes sense if he works on that side and the healing from inside. I haven't felt it like that since that night but mild every now and then.
  3. Not far at all! my hubs fam is from oc and we love the happiest place on earth:)
  4. Haha... Me too! I'm praying I don't loose boobs! I'll be left nada if only it moved from my butt, I got plenty!
  5. I'm from riverside ca my surgeon is Dr David Suh
  6. Omg! I'm 2 weeks post op tomorrow & had that same pain yesterday! I laid straight and didn't move, my hubs kept saying walk walk walk... It took like 20 min to pass Idk. Hasn't come back! Good luck
  7. I love Target I see tons of cute stuff even in clearance for cheeeeeap! And yes! It's like 50 bucks for pants and tops! Sheesh!
  8. Yeah I have to super careful and measure everything I'm scared of over eating. It's odd, but I'll measuring. Thanks
  9. I can total relate to not being able to have my own style and just buy what fits. I always accepted it but now that I'm on the losing side, I'm totally ready! I want to buy stuff from a normal store or even Target something that I can wear and love not just accept.
  10. So a lot of people have mentioned this non flavored protein to add to water and pretty much anything to increase daily intake. I just went to a place that has all these types of supplements, and the guy said its not the protein your body needs. His quote "you're just going to piss it all out" and he was against whey protein. He wanted me to buy this protein blend stuff. He tried to assure me he knows his stuff but its opposite of what I've been told all along.
  11. How upsetting! I'm praying for you! If you did smoke I don't think you would push hard to go with the surgery. Hopefully she thinks the same too. Best of luck! Keep us posted!
  12. Last night 3 hours after dinner (2oz of salmon) I ate a frozen yogurt thinking I can have yogurt why not freeze it. Well I had the worst pain! I didn't have dumping or vomit but if would have helped me I wish I did! Then today for breakfast I ate a scrambled egg with cheese, and I realized I get so full with less than 2 oz of egg than I do with all 2 oz of salmon. I don't get it! Egg gets me sooo full. Can anyone relate to either?
  13. I want to ride a roller coaster, sky dive, and have a closet full of color (not black)
  14. It's a hard decision to make, but you made it your fears are reasonable. Im a mom of 1 and also had a csection, but because the surgery was my choice it made it ok. Do all the research and write down all of your questions for your dr. If all else bring it here. All the luck!
  15. How exciting! Congrats
  16. I jumped on that right away and got your email. I even shared it with my mom who is 2 yrs post op. thanks again!
  17. The night before my surgery I kept reminding myself of all the reasons why I'm doing it, how long it took to get there, and all the hard work I put in. This reassurance self talk completely calmed my nerves, and I was so calm and collected. Even the nurses noticed. you will be great, sending prayers. Looking forward to all of your guys POST op updates! Cheers!
  18. I love your perspective! As one friend told me day after my surgery, the longest journey starts with one step! & its stuck by me. Try Mio or Passion tea/tazo they taste great. Lots of luck!
