  1. Ye it seems to be!!! Good luck to all I you. I'll certainly be thinking about you!
  2. I have a different 8-15. That will be my first official weigh in and diet start. Not as exciting but still a good step.
  3. Great goal! Mines about 150 too but I would LOVE to be 141. Its what I weighed in high school. It probably never will happen but there's always dreams. :-)
  4. Wow. Awesome about the BP meds. Keep up the good work!
  5. Wow. Just do what you can while you can but don't push it too much! :-). Good Luck

  7. Prayers and best wishes!!!
  8. A pair of expensive jeans. J Brand Laguana Beach etc. also just a vacation where I don't panic trying to pack. Really hot flat sandles that I'lll wear all day and my feet don't scream.
  9. I guess this is where the counseling and support groups come in. I know I am going to need them. I am such an emotional eater.
  10. Good for you! It will be an incredible and he'd journey but well worth it!
  11. You can do this and it is worth it. It's a hard road but if you follow the plan it's life changing. I've seen it in my friends. I am hoping this is the tool that helps me keep the weight off I lose this time. Good luck!!
  12. I've heard of this but it was a Dr and a few staff members who hate WLS. They try to get you to fail so they don't have to approve you. I'm scared my Dr will start this crap. I want mine by the end of the year.
  13. You gave them 4 1/2 months notice. That's not a rush job. She's just lazy.
  14. You will eventually lose boobs. Some more than others. It depends on how much is fat or real boob. It sounds funny but true. I've lost about 75 pounds before and went from a d to a c plus a much smaller band size. :-)
  15. Yea! Getting closer!
  16. Well, my food addiction has turned into a WLS addiction. I just read and read. But the thing that concerns me at this point is the fact I want to eat everything in sight. No because I am hungry but to have a funeral for food. I know very well I can eat most foods after the surgery but I have this obsession with never eating sugar, pasta, cookies, ice cream etc. again. They are my weakness, my Achilles heel. I can go months without them and BAM! I fall off the wagon and gain 20 pounds back. This is what scares me. I gain weight sooo easily. To me, this is my last chance. But with that being said, I think to be successful this time is to get help. I am not really depressed but have days when I am just miserable and my diet reflects it. Then I hate myself. That needs to stop. I am finally admitting to all of you that I indeed have a problem. I need help. I cannot do this alone. No more telling myself I am weak. So, I am looking forward to the psyche evaluation. I am going to ask for guidance down the road. I am going to attend the group sessions my hospital has as well. We will see how this all goes... :-)
  17. Good luck!!! Prayers!!!
