  7. Well I am on 1400 calorie per day balanced diet for 3-6 months ( not sure till I meet with the surgeon). Also I have to write everything down and I can not gain one pound. Is so hard right now I'm traveling a lot for work. But I'm doing better then what I was so its a start. I'm trying to keep high protein. Then I will have the liquid diet before surgery. Welcome and good luck to you.

  18. I do agree to be open and honest. However I'm not telling anyone. My hubby and BF is it. She knows because she has been through the surgery. My mom would freak out and others would tell people that I don't want to know. I am also new in my job so that's just to personal. I wish you the best of luck and if there are any doubters take them with you to an appointment. It helps reassure. :-).
  19. I know a lot depends on the surgeon and pre-existing conditions but I am curious to hear what medical tests you have been required to take to get cleared for surgery? Thanks!!
  20. Well that's UPMC for ya. Not making light but I'm at Magee as well with Dr McCloskey. They are notorious for confusion on the billing/ approval side but evidently you have WLS coverage or they won't have scheduled. They just need to review the documents. You should be just fine. Good luck to you!!! :-).
  21. Good for you! After my session yesterday wih the nutritionist, he said you have to be accountable and writing it down is the best way. I started today and it has kept me from snacking. Good luck!
  22. OH Hope you feel better! I am sure you will be fine. :-)
