  1. I love carne asada tacos and that's my weakness I confense I'm addicted to food and now I'm afraid to start on that sickle because I don't want stretch my pouch :-(

  3. My Dr is Dr Duncan he also has REAL RESULT. I started going in March and had my surgery in July. Good luck

This threat really got my blood pumping, first I'm a US citizen but also have Mexican heritage I don't get food stamps but what gets me is when I go to a store and the people in front of me ( not Hispanic most ot the time!!!) They have their hair done, nails, gold every were, and a brand new SUV and they end up paying with food stamps and when they are told that they need to take a drug test they complain. We need a drug test in order to get a job and not food stamps!! In my case I have make sure I manage my money because I don't get anything for free. Sorry but I had to vent
  5. I just realised that i met my first goal. I went to the dentist for my cleaning and they needed my drivers license to up date my info, well when i got it back it sais weight 238 and this morning that I weight my self it said 233. I'm so happy to finally weight les than what my license sais :-)
  6. I get the unflavor one is has NO sugar but it has a good source of potassium
  7. I mix water and pediatric electrolyte and Crystal light and that helps not to get dehydrated
  8. 34 lb is great I only lost 22 lb many first month

Well mami I for depress after losing my job and moving 1000 miles away from my family and also from gaining weight and that brought me in a cycle of eating to feel happy and then getting in a vicious cycle and then to top it of I was always tired didn't wanted to go out and felt like Icould sleep day and night :'(. I was told to start taking some thing for depression after my NUT test for RNY. I tried natural things but in order to qualify for surgery I had to start taking them. The ones that my doctor recommended help my to get going and now I actually feel excited about life :-)
  10. I started taking SERTRALINE 2 months before surgery and my doctor told me to keep taking them after surgery. I had my surgery 5 weeks ago and they are have helped me from those blues and down days. I cut it half and take sips of water.
  11. Well I had the same problem but my doctor told me that is nothing to worry that is from the air tube down our throat during surgery. You will get better I'm one month out and don't get that dry throat feeling any more
  12. Thanks everyone I wasn't thinking that 22 lb is more than what I had tried to lose before the surgery. :-)
  13. Tomorrow will be on month post op and as of today I have only lost 22 lb, I'm exercising and eating my protein and don't know what all's to do I feel like I'm not losing enough. Sorry to vent but I'm totally down :'(

  16. I was told that Tylenol is ok to take after surgery
  17. My surgery was on the 11th and now I'm able to have puraid food. What I have been doing is making chicken soup and putting it in the blender well my doctor said that I can purai soups I have also been craving avocado and I put some in 1/3 cup of puraid chicken soup and I was fine.

    The only thing is that my doctor told me to eat puraid food for 3 more weeks :-[

    OMG that's one thing that I love and can't wait too eat it with out rice, the only bad thing is that I'm only 2 1/2 weeks post op :'(
