Hello everyone....I've been ghost since Thanksgiving and have truly missed everyone and hearing abt successes as we get thru everything. I went to my first post op appt yesterday and Im down 30 lbs in two weeks!!!! Im so excited...I feel better...Wishing everyone the same success and we'll all get thru this....Oh and by the way can someone pls give me ideas on protein shakes...I cant do this bariatric advantage anymore!!!!

Good Luck to our Thanksgiving week group. You all definitely have something to be thankful for and I know everyone will have successful surgeries..As always words of advice, after surgery start your walking and some sipping and you can get home in a day and be able to enjoy the holiday in the comfort of your home. If not its still a joyous occasion and I wish you all GOOD LUCK....Im 4 days out and believe me I never expected such a smooth transition from pre-op to post-op!!!!!!

Congrats are in order for you to....we've conquered the biggest step so now we just have to stay in the fight...I think we can all do it!!!

Good morning everyone....I am up today feeling so good....I was missing from convo yesterday due to visitors coming by since Ill be leaving for NC in a few days to finish recovering with mom...I hope everyone is feeling well..So happy for the most part everyone's surgery went well without any complications. Glad to know we have a group built "FORD TOUGH", lol...

Im home already guys!!!!! Dr said I was doing great so it was my decision...hopefully everything will be ok...

I have a little pain on my left side but its intermitten. Otherwise Im feeling good...Im almost scared that Im feeling like this. Ive been walking alot....bp still running high so dnt know if Ill get to go home today or not.

Hey guys, sorry so late with an update...No one knew where my phone was....anyway, Im good....Ive been up walking and of course drinking water....Ive finally made it to the losing side....Woohoo!!!

Good morning everyone. I was just checking in to let everyone know Im at the hospital waiting to get called back to start prep for my surgery...Good luck to all that share this day and b4 you know it we will be post op...Will check in later to give an update.

Crstalww, you are far too kind....Today I've been still feeling numb, no real emotions and my mom that just recently arrived here to Atlanta asked did I feel nervous and I told her not yet...Finally getting the chance to read your message to me is what spoke to my spirit...I now feel that I have no reason to be nervous, anxious, or scared. I am excited to know I have the chance for a do over in life and some will never have that as an option...In these last few days I have been blessed beyond measure and I know I will continue to be favored bc I am a believer that my God is a healer...Thank you, ur words definitely provided the clarity I needed..Surgery is at 830 so shld hear something by the afternoon. Thank you for always providing positive insight.
