I have the same issue the Dr said its not infected its swollen from the weight of my belly pulling against it. I wear a binder and I use my arm's to get up not my abdominal muscles.

Puritans pride multi vitamin with fiber. They taste great and they're cheap

Congratulations on the weight loss I'm only 10 days out so I can't eat/ drink much at all

6/11 I had rny probably the worst thing I've ever endured. Some have next to no pain and some have excruciating pain unfortunately I was unlucky enough to be miserable for a week and a half. But its getting a bit better

Dr called in my pain meds I'm feeling a bit better ate sf pudding with milk and protein powder was able to drink 2 cups of ice water. Took a long cool shower now gonna take a walk. Shed a few tears for who knows why. Still uncomfortable but not in pain. Thanks ladies don't know what I'd do without you. Oh yeah lost 10 of the 20 I gained in the hospital. Post op appointment tomorrow.

So my Dr called in more pain meds for me today so I'm feeling a little better I was able to eat a cup of sugar free pudding with a half a scoop of protein powder mixed in. I've also drank 2 cups of ice water. Still uncomfortable but not in pain.

Thanks I left a message with my Dr office and wrote an email. I hope I hear from them soon.

I go for my follow up on Thursday. I'm convalescing at my sisters house (she's an RNP and registered respiratory therapist) she checks my vitals every 4 hours. So I know I'm not dying. I don't want to go to the er so ill wait til Thursday morning. Thanks for making me feel better. I'm sick of crying....I wish I could turn back time

I'm on day 8 and still in considerable pain. And I normally have a very high tolerance to pain. 4 kids over 8 lbs my son was 10lbs10oz no drugs. And this is way worse. I had laprascopic surgery to remove left ovary and Fallopian tube and that was nothing. I'm not trying to scare you I'm preparing you. I was pissed when I woke up from this surgery and no one warned me. You could be lucky I hope you are. This has nothing to do with bravery pain is pain.

I'm still in lots of pain 8 days post op anything besides clear liquids makes me feel yucky. I was going to sit on the couch I bent over to get a pillow and wham! It felt my entire abdominal wall ripped out especially around my belly button. I'm out of pain meds. Ugh I'm really regretting this surgery.

I was in a lot of pain walking was very hard for me so I timed my walks with my pain meds. Try not to cry it only makes the pain worse. I knew if I lost my composure I'd never get it back. I'm 7 days post op and still in pain but its much better a nd I haven't taken my pain meds today

I'm 6 days post op and I'm still in horrible pain while standing or walking especially getting up. Whole I'm sitting its OK Left abdomen above drain sight is swollen it feels like its burning and tearing ... When will this end?

I actually did injections but it didn't work. The drops are a waste of money your body doesn't absorb it well thru digestive system

I know this is bad but I quit the night before surgery

Popsicles help my thirst. And iced tea. I drink water but it goes down rough

I can't lie flat I sleep sitting up. If I lie flat it hurts to get up. Hell week is truly hell week

I talked to the Dr he said my labs from yesterday were perfect no signs of infection. He said I have 30lbs of belly pulling away from my stitches paired with walking too much. So shower with the packing out let water and hibiclens run over it. Keep my binder and ice on. And only walk for 5 min every hour to prevent blood clots. Thanks ladies

I'm five days out yesterday when showering I noticed the larger incision sight (where the drain was) was swollen. It Burns to. I did more walking yesterday than ever since surgery I had to go to the hospital for blood tests and then to Walmart. It still really hurts and I never noticed it being swollen before

My daughter used Bio oil during her pregnancy and she has no stretch marks or flabby skin she was a 0 before her pregnancy 110 lbs she went up to 165 during and within 6 weeks was a size 2. Ill be trying the Bio oil as soon as my incisions heal
