Tomorrow Is My Surgery!

I'm so nervous. I know it's the right decision. I'm just afraid of pain and complications. Any pointers, advice ect. Do I need anything at the hosp?

Good luck to all those whose surgery is this week. I will see y'all on the other side.

How exiting. Good luck!!!

Good luck and we'll be thinking of you. Let us know how you're doing

I was in a lot of pain walking was very hard for me so I timed my walks with my pain meds. Try not to cry it only makes the pain worse. I knew if I lost my composure I'd never get it back. I'm 7 days post op and still in pain but its much better a nd I haven't taken my pain meds today

Good luck. Walk ASAP and as much as you can!! I did a ton of laps in the hospital. And every night since the night after I got home I have walked in the park for 30-45 minutes. I have to go sometimes at random times to walk. It's the only thing that helps with gas or stomach pains.

Good luck! Prayers sent your way!!! Like everyone has said, walk as soon as you can. I got up the first night and it wasn't as bad as everyone had told me it would be. My only advice is to be careful and no heavy lifting. I did great the first time after surgery. But two weeks out and I had complications because of a tear. My fault, but still very painful. I was hospilitized for a week. And that time I was down. So just be careful!!

Hey fluffy lots of walking. Don't take pj you won't be able to wear it. They always poking needlesc& taking blood out.

I'm a brave woman so I can't speak for others. I was in pain in hospital & after I got home pain free. Discomfort yes. Moody you hate food at first. Cooking is annoying when your not eating it but you get used to it.
