I'm five days out yesterday when showering I noticed the larger incision sight (where the drain was) was swollen. It Burns to. I did more walking yesterday than ever since surgery I had to go to the hospital for blood tests and then to Walmart. It still really hurts and I never noticed it being swollen before

Call the dr they told me to call if any of the sites were ever red, tender or swollen!

You need to take it easy, sounds like your doing too much. I wasn't aloud to shower for 10 days I had to do sponge baths. The doc didn't want any water near the sites I have 6 holes. I would definently call doc if sights aren't looking right, better to call and ask him.

I talked to the Dr he said my labs from yesterday were perfect no signs of infection. He said I have 30lbs of belly pulling away from my stitches paired with walking too much. So shower with the packing out let water and hibiclens run over it. Keep my binder and ice on. And only walk for 5 min every hour to prevent blood clots. Thanks ladies
