Omg The Pain

Had my surgery Monday still in hospital. This is the worst pain I have ever had. I've given birth 4 times my son was 10lbs10oz and that was nothing compared to this

  • I went in surgery last friday, saturday at noon I left the hospital in Belgium, booked myself into a hotel for one night, drove 1100km up to Danmark sunday morning. My pain is almost gone, only 5 days

  • Good for you!! Don't push too hard. It's all about "lifestyle changes" and getting and staying active is, I think, a big part of it. When I first started walking it was often a chore that I had to for

I'm sorry to hear this. I found this much easier then 3- c sections. Everyone is different when it comes to pain and surgery.

Feel better soon

i felt the same...i woke up crying n wanted to die from the pain..no one told me it was like that!!!!! im now 6 days since, and its much better...i hope u feel better:-(

Violet, I am also 6 days out!! Yay!! I'm glad your pain is good. Mine however is bad. It's just one area where my JP drain is located. It is much better than in was 6 days ago but I still need pain meds to function normally.

my surgeon told me the drain causes pain..i get mine out today....maybe once yours is out it will be better? i hope:-(

Violet,

I should have said was. They pulled mine before I left the hospital on Sat. I'm very happy to hear your pain level is good. I'm looking forward to that day:) As long as I have pain meds I'm good. Lol! Other than that area the rest of my body is pain free. Maybe I was extra sensitive to the drain:( People keep suggesting gas pain. I get gas pains occasionally, too. The 2 pains are definitely different.

The drain site hurts the worst. No one told me it was gonna hurt this bad.

I went in surgery last friday, saturday at noon I left the hospital in Belgium, booked myself into a hotel for one night, drove 1100km up to Danmark sunday morning. My pain is almost gone, only 5 days after. So its very different for each person, but I do not regret anything :) but its gets better really fast, so just hang un there for a couple of days.

I never had a baby - but did have a 3rd degree burn. The actual burn pain was worst but it was in a localize area, this surgery make your entire inside hurts and puts you out for days and week. I didn't realize how your stomach controls your turning, coughing, sneezing, breathing, laughing etc. I'm on day 8 or 9 and the pain amount has gone down, but when it comes it's horrible!!

Kiwilaydee,

Gives me hope that I'm not crazy and that there isn't something more wrong with me:) I'm on day 6 so hopefully mine will abate soon.

It gets better- we promise!!! Better every day.. Try to stay positive.

2nd that! It will pass and then the really fun part begins!!

Not everyone gets a drain. I didn't have one.

And I had a drain but it came out before I left the hospital. Mine was to collect fluid and do a dye test (ech) for leakage before I left the hospital.
