Big Baby?

I'm still in lots of pain 8 days post op anything besides clear liquids makes me feel yucky. I was going to sit on the couch I bent over to get a pillow and wham! It felt my entire abdominal wall ripped out especially around my belly button. I'm out of pain meds. Ugh I'm really regretting this surgery.

If I were you, I would put in a call to your Dr's office. There is no sense in you suffering when you don't have to. I'm a registered nurse, and my advice is to call. You're not dying, like you said, but when you're suffering, sometimes you wish you were.

When I had my surgery, everyone from the doctors to every nurse stressed the importance of letting them know if you're in pain. Research has shown that people in pain heal slower and pain can cause unnecessary complications. Call your doctor. Success does not have to be synonomous with suffering. Before you know it any thoughts of regret about having the surgery will melt away right along with the pounds. You're gonna love the new you!!
