  1. That's the same way my program works Joanna. It works really well I think because when you go to the next stage your pouch is ready for the change. I am 26 days post of and now eating soft foods like ground turkey in tomato sauce w/ spices and of cheese.; egg white scrambles w/turkey bacon and cheese etc. imam eating 1/4 cup 3 meals per day and protein drinks as snacks.
  2. My insurance will approve with BMI over 40 or 35 to 40 with only one such as sleep apnea, high blood pressure or diabetes .
  3. I'm back to work Monday so I'm sure I'll have some comments coming my way!

  5. Walking helps a lot with the gas...also I find I have to add some Mio or Propel etc to my water to help get It down...and I have to have it at room temp.
  6. I have only been able to buy clothes at Lane Bryant for such a long time. It's exciting to be able to shop other places....lots less expensive also:-)

  12. I'm so excited! I had a Denver scramble for lunch! Made enough for two 1/4 cup servings! With 1/4 egg substitute, 1 oz lite ham, 1 T lf cheese, tomatoe onion and pepper ( 1.5 tsp f each) it was yummy and went down great. I cut up all the veggies and ham really small.

  14. I was wondering if some of you could post a sample menu for the day that you use/used for week three post op. thought it would be fun to get some ideas for this week. I am going on soft foods. Thank you
  15. I'm getting the same thing. Feels like a tug of war in my left side and neither side is winning! Also feels like someone punched me in the gut sometimes if I overdo! Doc said it was perfectly normal .

  18. I had lots of burping the first 2 weeks. Now I'm on week 3 and it's gone.
  19. Also be sure to be supportive and not jealous. There seems to be a lot of that going on with spouses. It is very important to let her know how great she is doing as she will feel a lot of different emotions as she goes through this transition.
  20. Can't say I blame you there Mami! My husband is 50 but he is not old fashioned and does give me compliments often. I agree it's hard to keep things spiced up if only one of you is trying.
