Burping

I am 1 week post op and have been having so much trouble with gas and burping. Is anyone else having these problems? Is this normal? How long will this last, cause I'm miserable from this.

Hi. I was told by the nurse i would have the same problem for the rest of my life, but it went away after about 2 or 3 weeks. Now i am fine. I bet it will go away for you.

I had lots of burping the first 2 weeks. Now I'm on week 3 and it's gone.

I'm 22weeks out and I still burp all the time even with just drinking water!

Really, really normal! I'm 34 weeks out - burping usually follows eating too fast. Gas follows me whereever I go! LOL
