I'll be right there with you on the 30th - walk, walk, sip, sip,
  5. I guess in a way i'm happy that my insurance doesn't pay for this. I had to quit smoking too, but luckily, I was tired of it. I don't have to wait around, but I do have to go to Mexico to make it affordable. Surgery is next Tues. so i'll keep looking for your updates.
  6. A laxative?? Really?? You poor girl.
  7. That's my secret too, I bake, then I give it away!!
  8. I too believe in pain killers - if I hurt the day I leave the hospital to fly home, you bet i'll be insisting on liquid Vicodin!!
  9. I agree, get rid of them. I too have a frugal side. Some of the women on here do Goodwill, thrift shops, or consignment stores, while losing weight and dropping sizes.
  10. Hell Yeah!! I'm doing the same thing before my surgery - mani/pedi, roots,I want to look good for this surgery!!
  11. I can relate to your fears as well - am having surgery 7/30. I too have forgotten what it's like to be in normal sizes. The thing is, I did go on a shoe binge - I really hope my feet don't shrink

That's a shame - there are methods to control that. It sounds like you had an allergic reaction to either the anesthesia, or the pain meds. I can't believe they took so long to stop that. Surgery usually is not that pleasant - however, they should have done something for you right away.
  14. I am so happy you could fit in that suit!!! And your face does really show your weight loss! Your doing great!!
  15. It's nice to hear another person who feels that their life with food will not be "over" after surgery.
  16. That is an impressive list!! Way to go!!!

Talk to your PCP or your surgeon - it can probably be easily corrected. But you've got to let your professionals know
