  1. 1. To be able to walk more easily....improve my mobility! 2. To rock a black dress again, and a red one, and a blue one, and a purple one...you get the idea! 3. To wear my rings again... 4. To have my legs become one of my best features again instead of just hair & teeth 5. To try new things ...confidence & mobility to be able to 6. To go to the 'other' side of clothing stores again and be comfortable regardless of the size 7. To feel more comfortable in my own skin again...regardless of what Mr. Scale says 8. To feel like the old & real me again... 9. To hopefully, lower my health risks (lots of bad health issues on both sides of my family) of many problems at my age 10. To have George Clooney, or Joe Manganiello (excuse my spelling), or Vince Vaughn, or John Cusack, or Russell Crowe, or Gerard Butler...fall madly in love with me, of course, and live happily ever after!!! LOL
  2. to feel like me again!
  3. They are only 10 grams ...but Kelloggs and Nature Valley each have a new one . ..I hate all things protein like the shakes & bars . ..but I like these.
  4. Awesome!!!! Congrats!!!!
  5. Congrats!!! Awesome!!!
  6. I take diva & b***h each as compliments, but I've never been called a diva! lol . . .all women have various connotations with each word . . .just be you & you'll be fine!
  7. Congrats! Awesome! I agree with logging your food and fluids & showing your dr & nut as someone suggested above.
  8. Congrats!!! Awesome!!!
  9. Congrats! Awesome!! You look great!
  10. I didn't tell anyone, either. People can be mean, intentionally and unintentionally. Do what is best for you. Good luck!
  11. Hang in there. You can do it. I won't lie - the first month is hell, but it can, will, and does get easier. Keep your mind busy with other things...walk, read, movies, etc...work on protein, water, and walking...you will do fine. Best of luck to you!!
  12. I told NO one except my family dr & neurosurgeon...I talk with them about it. I see both one time per month. I 'talk' to people on here. Everybody else in my life thinks I am doing WW and the gym again....losing it again that way for the gazillionith time. I don't want anyone to know or worry. People can be mean, sometimes intentionally & sometimes unintentionally. I look at it as it is my business...and this is something I really need to do alone and for myself. Everybody is different. Do what is best for you. Good luck!
  13. I am 3 months out too... 1. eat and drink together...I know we are not supposed to, but I do...it causes discomfort, but this is a very hard habit for me to break. I am getting better about just sipping to wash something down instead of a good drink 2. Alcohol? Yes, I have had crown & coke together. I have had a few Bud lights...I felt the effects much more quickly & I am still a big girl, so it isn't that I have lost weight. I didn't feel so well the next day. 3. Alcohol & food...I never do this even before surgery 4. Smoke - I have never smoked. 5. Weed - I have never used any type of drugs 6. Rice - swells & makes me feel uncomfortable 7. Pasta - I haven't tried it yet...I love it, so I hope I can tolerate 8. Spicy - Not tried alot...salsa and jalpenos have been fine for me 9. Fried - yes, but I go to the restroom shortly afterwards..
  14. Just take it day by day...you may want to look at your journey as only having to lose 5 or 10 lbs instead of looking at it as 200..it will help keep you motivated even after the sleeve. Best of luck to you!
  15. OMG! Wish I had an answer for ya, girl! Unfortunately, I don't have a man in my life. . .and I wouldn't have an answer if I did! lol I can't wait to see what someone responds to this . . .lol
