  1. Have you had any other health problems or complications other than the dehydration? How do yu feel physically & mentally now? Congrats on your loss! That is awesome.
  2. Good for you! I've rocked the bikini at 300 & at 150... my stretch marks are so faded, my surgery scars are barely visible, and I get really tan, so I love the sun & I've never let my weight affect that. Am I happy with how I look in one? Nope, I wasn't at 150 or 300...but now if/when I get to that weight...I will be happy. I'm older & wiser! I can relate to your comment.
  3. I told no one about my surgery. I tell people I am doing Weight Watchers (and I do go weekly for scale accountability & support) for the gazillionith time and going to the gym again (which I am)...my health is really nobody's business is how I look at it.
  4. ...this is one of the reasons I told no one. People can be mean, intentionally & unintentionally.
  5. Awesome! Congrats! Focus on the basics: water, protein, walking....you can get to goal!!!
  6. I am 15 weeks out...I have never been able to do the shakes. I tried every brand & type & flavor out there...hate the taste & smell! GNC Total Lean I tried recently & think I could possibly handle, but they are very expensive. I would have to drive 1 1/2 hr to even buy them from where I live. I do the Nature Valley & Kellogg 10 gram protein breakfast/snack bars only...I can't stomach the other types. I struggle with getting in my protein & fluids still, which isn't good. I just keep trying. Best of luck to you.
  7. Awesome! Congrats!
  8. Awesome!! Congrats!!!
  9. Hardest part - mental & emotional part of all this...I regret having it. I am 14 weeks out, no complications. It changes your entire life. 2nd hardest part - the 1st month out is hell (excuse my language!)... Best of luck to you!
  10. Amen! We give Mr. Scale too much power!
