Maybe i am the only one
I hear ya...you are not alone. And you are very right, your opinions matter just as much as anybody else's on here. Don't let people on here get to you...people are just mean, sometimes intentionally & sometimes unintentionally. Just learn their usernames & ignore their posts. I scroll on past certain people & don't read anything that they post.

Shampoo for hair loss
My hair stuff just started (I am nearing 6 months out)...I had been using (prior to the hair loss) Biotin/Collagen shampoo & conditioner Organix (purple bottle at Walmart). Once it started, I just bought the Garnier Fall fight, but haven't used it yet. I also read a post recently about a Loreal shampoo...the poster said JLo was in the commercial for it, but I haven't really looked to see which one it was...good luck to all of us with this. I am more freaked out & regretting this surgery more than I ever have (and that is saying a lot)...my hair is all I have in the looks department...and if it goes...I don't care how much weight I have lost...I will not be happy at all with myself. I take biotin, prenatal, and all the surgery vitamins...anybody have any other suggestions on what to do for the hair??

"Hair" Today, Gone Tomorrow...
RJ - I have question about what you posted above...do you mean ALL of your hair was gone? Do you mean you were literally bald? The hair thing started for me recently (over 5 months now)...and I am petrified. I have hair to my waist, really thick...it is all I have really as far as my looks. I am taking Biotin, Prenatal vitamins, all the ones required by my doctor, and I started using Biotin/Collagen shampoo & conditioner. I only wash once a week. I am styling and using styling products/tools as little as possible. I knew that there would be hair loss, but I had never read a post that someone went totally and actually bald til now. I am freaking out now.... good luck to all of us with our weight loss, our hair, our skin, and all else!!

NAUSEA, DEHYDRATION, MORE NAUSEA
The symptoms you mentioned are normal for many after surgery. Why were you hospitalized? Why is your doctor wanting to convert you to bypass so soon after sleeve? I wish I knew more to tell you more. Dehydration and hair loss have been my only complications so far (I am 5 plus months out); I hope someone sees your post & can offer you more information. If your tests have been normal, I would get a 2nd bariatric doctor opinion, before I had another surgery, if I were you. Best of luck to you. Hope you are feeling better soon.

What i would give...
Hang in there. It gets better. The first month is pure hell, I will not lie. But slowly, day by day, it will get better. Everything you mentioned is your new normal, but it does get better in time. Hope you feel better. Good luck.
