  2. I am almost 6 months out...I've had three 1 lb gains despite eating & drinking so little. It happens. I think our bodies & systems have to adjust and catch up!
  3. I live alone...told no one about my surgery...I made it. It would have been nice to have someone there, but I made it solo!
  4. Marcher here! Down about 86 lbs now. Still regret having it, but sucking it up & taking it day by day! Good luck to all of us with our weight, our skin, our hair, and our overall health!
  5. People can be mean, intentionally & unintentionally. I told no one. My health is my business. I didn't want to worry family & friends. I didn't want coworkers and others in my life gossiping about me anymore than what they probably already do! I don't look at it as 'hiding' it ...it is my choice not to tell just the same as someone has the choice to tell... everybody is different about it. I think we need to be respectful of everyone's choices on such matters. It is their journey, you know what I mean.
  6. The first month is pure hell..I won't lie to you. It does get better day by day. Hang in there. Hang tough. I am nearly 6 months out...it is much better. I still regret every doing it, but because of my mind - not complications or anything..regret is normal at the beginning....you will be okay...make yourself drink, do your protein, and walk...even though you may not want to or feel like it...do it anyway! Most love their sleeve - I am sure you will to in months to come. Good luck!!
  7. started at 303 (was probably higher at one point)...

  9. I told no one...I tell people I am doing WW and having success for the billionith time & hitting the gym. My health is my business is how I see it. I try to change the subject when diet & weight are brought up by anyone, too. People can be mean, intentionally & unintentionally. Good luck!
