  10. You're right, I don't have a lot, but I do have a muffin top that will not go away no matter what I try. My abs are doing well, but they are hard to find underneath the roll! I would also love to get my arm flaps removed, my boobs lifted and maybe my thighs. What gets done, however will be determined by what my insurance will cover and hopefully I will find that out when I have my consultation. I have no idea about the cost yet, I just know that my policy will cover "skin removal after excessive weight loss". Since their definition of excessive is 100 lbs, I decided to pursue it. Maybe it's just vanity...I just turned 53 after all! Thanks for the encouragement everyone!

  14. Two years out today...91% of my excess weight is gone! Starting weight: 305; today's weight:152. Started in size 26/28 bottoms and 3X tops...today I am wearing size 6 bottoms and M tops! So very happy and excited for my next surgical consultation in October for plastics!
  15. Congratulations and thanks for the suggestion. I am 21 months from surgery, have lost 165 lbs, am 15 lbs from goal and CANNOT get the scale to move. Tried increasing exercise, but the scale has not moved in 3 months!
  16. I have cleaned my closet all the way from size 26 pants to size 6 and from a 3X women's top to a misses medium. It is the greatest feeling in the world! I LOVE cleaning my closet!
  17. Anything mushy would be fine, but I just took my protein powder and asked for a glass of skim milk. No problem!
  18. Congratulations! I know what you mean! I am 17 months today...woohoo! Started at 317 - size 26/3x and today am 155 - size 6/M. I am only 5'5" so I still have a few pounds yet to hit a normal bmi. Best decision ever!
  19. Tried on my pre-op size 26 jeans today...I can fit into one leg! I would encourage anyone that is feeling any regret to just push through. All of the hard work is so worth it!
  20. ...size 8 skinny jeans! 17 months out, 162 pounds down, 20 to go! Soooo happy!
  21. I am 16 months out from surgery, have lost 152 pounds and am 30 from goal. Weight loss has slowed to nearly a standstill, but it was expected and was ready for that. I am, however, having issues with IBS that I have never had before. Am wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if it is totally unrelated to my sleeve and I should pursue t with my pcp.
  22. Surgery August 29 - today is 4 weeks out and no weight loss this past week . Down 26 since surgery, 61 total since I started the process. Am having difficulty eating in the morning...anything before 10 comes back up! But other than that, seem to be doing well. It is difficult to get in 70+ grams of Protein - am learning to choose wisely.
