  1. I'm still pre op, but saw this on Facebook and it looked like a good recipe for my fellow sleevers!
  2. You look amazing! Love your boots! And your family is beautiful . Can I ask what your starting stats are?
  3. I'm still pre op, but saw this on my Facebook and thought it would be good for my fellow sleevers!

  6. The one that my surgeon recommended doesn't take my insurance. I used a different one for clearance but he was horrible.
  7. I need to find one first
  8. What about pre op? I don't want it to effect my liver shrinking
  9. For my pre op diet. I'm supposed to do 3 shakes and unlimited clear/sugar free liquids. Anyone know if its ok?
  10. Ok so I'm not totally wrong lol
  11. Hohhot..gotcha . Edit* damn auto correct lol.. Ohhhh*
  12. What time are you eating? Maybe it's too early? I'm just speculating since I'm still pre op, but I've heard people on here saying that overnight their sleeves fill up with saliva and what not while sleeping, so in the morning it all gets thrown up. It's seems that a warm cup of tea or another warm beverage would be good to break up the mucus and saliva. Because if your belly is full of saliva/mucus, then you try and eat, there is no room! Just my two cents feel better!
  13. Thanks guys.. I know it sounds really dumb lol. I just want to do everything exactly right, but was too embarrassed to ask my surgeon. I'd rather get laughed at by Internet strangers then my surgeon!
  14. I start my pre op diet in 2 days, so I went shopping for all re and post op items. My surgeon has us going home from the hospital on puréed food. I was reading through my booklet and it says to chew each bite between 25-30 times. Does that go for purée too? I mean, I can't picture chewing yogurt, but are you supposed to? I guess if you chew it then it will water down with saliva? Gross, but I was just wondering!
  15. It's actually not the one that my surgeon recommended because he didn't take my insurance.
  16. I'm going shopping today for my pre op and post op liquid diet. I saw this huge tub of protein powder from Costco that said 50g protein per scoop and it was whey protein. Is there a specific kind of protein I'm looking for? What's isolate protein? Help please!
  17. It is very different for each person. I know that I personally (why I actually stick to a diet lol) am a fast loser. Even when I was a low bmi it came off quick, I just never kept if off . NOw my bmi is high, I think it's 50 or 51, so I'm expecting (and hoping!) that it drops just as fast.
  18. My doctor says never. I'm s huge seltzer addict. I love a nice cold seltzer with a twist of fresh lime! Butttt, my doctors know best and if they say no carbonation, then I'll be giving it up!
  19. Amazing! And that blue dress is beautiful!
