1. What kind of success did you have with this 8 hour plan? Did the weight come off quickly?
2. What is the 8 hour diet
3. No I can't work full time. I have a son in kindergarten and a 2.5 year old. I have to be home for the baby, and be home to put my son on/off the bus. I try to get out during the day, but I'm also in college full time online so I try and squeeze that in during the day between housework and kids. I'd love to do therapy but we don't have insurance, and we can't afford it until after the holidays. The food that tempts me is food for my husband/kids. I'm not sure What's stopping me. Trying to figure it out.
4. I'm a stay at home mom so I'm always home. I'm in and out of the fridge all day. Sad part is, I'm not even hungry! And I still have my restriction, but I often push past full. I feel the need go fad diet. I even bought pills! I don't want to do that again. I was down into a size 10. Now, they're tight. I'm so mad. Mentally, I know what to do. I just can't do it.
5. Thank you everyone. I wanted to seek therapy but no longer have insurance, that's why I reached out here. I've got to figure something out. It's out of control
6. Yes I have all of that. I mentally know what I'm supposed to do, I just dont. I always start the day well, then it goes to crap.
7. Hi all. I haven't posted here in a while. I'm sure 17 months out and 120lbs down. I was about 28lbs from goal and then I'm not sure what happened. I feel like I've just stopped caring. I've actually GAINED almost 20lbs. I hate myself and I feel like I've failed. I know I've come actually long way, but I can't help but feel like actually complete failure. How can I kick these carb cravings?
8. I havent eaten bananas in almost a year. I'm almost 11 months post op a d about 110lbs down with about 40 to go. I stay under 40 carbs per day. It's just not worth it to me.
9. I eat 1000-1300 and my exercise burns 750-900
10. After exercise I'm usually netting 200-400 calories. Here's a sample menu Breakfast: cottage cheese and a cup of coffee Snack: hard boiled eggs (2) with hot sauce Lunch: salad with cucumber, deli meat and ranch dressing Snack: cheese and a vegetable Dinner: Protein and veggie with a little starch (rice/pasta/potato)
11. I've only lost 11 lbs since January and I still have about 50 to go! I eat about 1000-1200 calories per day and work out 5x per week. I slack a lot on my water, but other then that I do everything I'm supposed to! Haven't lost a single pound in almost 6 weeks! Help!
12. Thank you everyone! Your words mean more than you can imagine!
13. No specific routine. I'm a stay at home mom so sometimes I find it very tempting to snack. I do 1 hour zumba class 5 times per week. It's so fun! I eat pretty much everything in moderation. My MFP username is kia923 if you want to add me
14. 299 HW 289 day of surgery (7/3/13) 197 today
15. Almost 10 months out and 102lbs down with about 50 to go. Started the gym about 5 weeks ago and haven't lost a single lb since. I religiously log every day and eat about 1000-1200 calories to day and burning about 800. So I'm netting about 200-400 calories per day. Should I be eating some of those calories back?
16. Seems perfect to me. The dreaded 3 weeks stall hits almost everyone. I stalled at week 3 for almost 6 weeks! Then dropped like 10 lbs that following week. Just keep doing what your doing
17. If there is still restriction then there is no need to revise. 2000+ calories seems like a lot unless your doing some serious bodybuilding. I'm almost a year out and what I've realized is the the sleeve can't fail me, but I can certainly fail my sleeve. Back to basics. Maybe even counseling if you haven't addressed the issues that caused over eating before surgery? Whatever you choose, good luck!
18. Do you still have restriction?
19. Thank k you! Definitely not like I should. I have two small kids so going to the gym isn't really possible. I walk a lot pushing the double stroller (about 100lbs with the kids in it) and the occasional cardio video.
20. Have you tried warm liquids? Cold liquids made my stomach spaz out the first few weeks
21. Haven't been on in a while and wanted to post some progress pics HW 299 SW 289 (July 3 2013) CW around 200 (could be less, haven't weighed in 2 weeks)
22. I've been tracking for 200 days straight! I eat about 900-1100.
