7/3/13 HW 299 SW 289 CW 237- I have a question please which seem silly
Yes!! At my heaviest, my wedding set was a size 12.5!!! I'm not quite sure what size I am now, but if can't wear my rings because they fall off- 8 months out down 122pounds down
How's your tummy skin doing? Like I've told you before, we're started at the same weight and same body type. I'm not sure if you've had kids, but I'm worried about my tummy skin because of my 2 pregnancies. I'm 2.5 months out and 63lbs down!- little nervous
And congrats!- little nervous
I'm not pregnant, but I was just browsing. And wanted to share that I only gained 2lbs with my second son and he was born a healthy 8lbs 7oz at 40 weeks! I was very sick with morning sickness and ended up losing weight, but gained the placenta/water/baby so it evened out.- Weight loss slowing down...will be r myhs post op Oct 3
How far out are you? I'm going on 3 months and my weight came to a screeching halt these past 3 weeks. I'm hoping its a stall, because I've lost 60, but have about 90 more to go!- July sleevers please check in..
You can either message me or my email is kia923@optonline.net- You THINK you're eating healthy but......
I never knew they were that bad until AFTER I had surgery!- Coffee after being sleeved
I was served decaf coffee in the hospital the morning after surgery- You THINK you're eating healthy but......
I remember when my family wanted to go out to dinner to Applebee's one night. I figured I could have one of the salads that I always used to eat pre op. I always thought I was choosing wisely, because it's shrimp/spinach and a light vinaigrette. Well, it's over 450 calories!!! Crazy!- Is it normal?

- HCG after Sleeve?
I did HCG injections a few years back. Worked well until I stopped, then gained it all back. Why don't you ask your doctor? He/she would know better then us- Best and worst "compliments"
Ugh I remember when I was 22 and getting IDed for alcohol at a gas station and when the guys saw my picture (from when I was 17) he said "oh wow you've gotten really fat! this doesnt even look like you!" i wanted to die! But like you guys said, I guess it's a cultural thing.- Do you feel you settled for your partner because you were fat?
Thank you. He isn't a horrible person. It's not like he cheats or lies or drinks.. he is just someone who doesn't show emotion or make an effort. Likes his alone time and sometimes just doesn't want to be bothered with me or the kids.- Do you feel you settled for your partner because you were fat?
Oh man, what a topic! Well, when my husband and I met, I was 19 and a college cheerleader. I was heavy in Hs, and lost 60lbs in college getting to an all time low which was a size 8. My relationship with him started off completely just sexual (sorry TMI). I ended up pregnant 6 months later while on birth control. I wasn't in love with him, but we decided to parent anyway. It was rough, going from being "hook up partners" to a couple and parents. I gained over 80lhs that pregnancy because of depression. After I had my son, I gained about 20 more from severe post partum depression. We split up for a while, and I think I went back to him because it was easy. I knew he wanted me, even if he wasn't the best for me. Now, 4 years later, were married with another baby and we still have a rocky relationship. He's not unsupportive, but he's not terribly supportive either. He never tells me I'm pretty, or tells me that he notices my weight loss. But if I say "hey I lost 5lbs this week" all he will say is "good job" and leave it at that. He's a great provider financially, but a crappy husband and so-so father. We'll see what happens. As my self confidence has gone up, I've been more "ballsy" during fights and standing up for myself. Not sure if I even answered the post lol. Sorry I hijacked it!- Is this normal?
I stalled from week 3 to week 7, then dropped 6lbs in 2 days, and I've been losing consistently since. I'm 11.5 weeks out- First Post-op Post
Yay! Welcome too the sleeved side! im about 11.5 weeks out and I was e same as you. I had zero pain or nausea after surgery, and haven't used anything more powerful then Tylenol since waking up in recovery! Even if you feel great, keep walking! It will help prevent gas and blood clots. I had a very easy time with fluids. I was more scared then anything. The warm tea/broth definitely felt better going down then cool liquids. Hope you keep having such an easy recovery!- slider
Lettuce is a slider for me too! The first time I had it I thought "my sleeve is broken"!! Lol. Then I ate some chicken and got stuffed after 4 bites. - How much is too much soup?
