  1. Me too. 8 months out
  2. Thanks everyone! I've lost 96 since pre op and 86 since surgery July 2013. I've been stalled almost 6 weeks! Going up and down the same 5lbs. My surgeons nutritionist said 1000 calories, 100 carbs, 55 protein. Maybe I'll up protein and lower carbs and it will get the weight loss moving again!
  3. Ugh this explains so much. Time to cut more carbs!
  4. Wow ok. I've been doing way more then 40. Maybe that's why I'm stalling my surgeon said 100. That's a big difference
  5. I'm 7.5 months out. How many calories/carbs/protein do you do?
  6. HW 299 SW (7/3/13) 289 CW 203
  7. 7 Months out and I've been hit with baby fever! My older 2 are 2.5 years apart, and if I were to conceive now, the middle and baby will be 2.5 years apart! I've lost 100lbs with another 50 to go till goal. Am I crazy for wanting a baby now? I was planning a tummy tuck for the beginning of 2016 so I'm not worried about stretching my tummy. A little worried about weight gain. Any insight? Also, does anyone have 3 kids? Is it bad having an odd number? I have 2, and would have my tubes tied after the third.

  11. They really say you should be 130-160?! Holy crap! That's what my goal is and I'm 5'3 woman lol! My husband is 5'10 190lbs and looks "thin". My chart says I should be 117. I think I'd be just bones!
  12. great job! Btw I loveeee your hair!

  16. Whether or not it happened it's still a good message. Being a stay at home mom with 24/7 fridge access I often find myself wandering into the kitchen only because I'm bored or the kids want a snack. I'm 5 months out and still battling these issues.
  17. My 3 week stall lasted a full month! It was horrible and very emotional. But, this too shall pass. I'm 5 months out and 87lbs down! Just keep following your plan and you'll lose the weight
  18. At 5 weeks I was still on a purée diet. What were your surgeons guidelines? You really shouldn't deviate for recovery reasons. It could be dangerous!
  19. I agree.. I'm 5 months out and just tried steak yesterday.
  20. Thank you. I didn't realize how much of a change there was until looking at these old photos. I still see the same old me in the mirror.
  21. Hw 299 SW 289 CW 212.6 Left was summer '10 Top right was Christmas '12 Bottom right was today! Love my sleeve
  22. It's the cold weather here, I've been craving nice, hot cream soups! Any one have any low carb options for things like broccoli cheddar soup, chicken and dumplings, potato soup, etc.? I've already made chilis and broth soups. Although a spicy broth soup recipe would be nice too!
