  1. I tried the Isopure plus grape frost that was given to me as a sample. I love it. It tastes like the gatorade frost...but "lighter" so a better taste. I really need to buy some...I am so tired of plain water and I don't get enough protien.
  2. Wow...that long for gas to leave, but it makes sense. Thanks ladies
  3. I had terrible upper back pain (my only pain)in hospital. This is the only reason I take pain medicine. Now it is mainly in morning and in evening. Sometimes during the day, but the med makes me tired so I try not to take it. I sit up in a chair, walk, and lay down.. still doesn't help. 9days PO
  4. I am 9 days PO. I can not believe it...NO snoring. I used to wake myself up with it. I also no longer have the constant cough from the gerd trouble I HAD. This all must have been related somehow. Plus the obvious of no caffene and other food that caused symptoms I have only lost 10#, I expected having to lose 50# before I saw a difference. Even if I lose 1/2 of my 80#, I am so happy to have the cough and snoring gone.
  5. I will be having my surgery by Dr. Conk at Methodist on July 5. I live in Laurel.

  8. My teenage daughter told me today that I was snoring so loud she could hear me. Her bedroom is 30 feet away from mine. We both had our doors shut also. I had trouble sleeping since I was a non~overweight kid, which I am sure was stress related. During the non overweight times I am sure I did not snore. I have some sleep apnea...blah blah blah. How have you "snore people" been doing after your weight loss? Has it lessened or disappeared? Oh, please tell me it improved or disappeared. :-) THANKS

  18. I agree totally. ANY medical proceedure or even diagnoises should be reviewed with your doctor. There are no "stupid" questions. My "interview" with him was loaded with these questions and more. In fact, the whole team was questioned. Thanks

  20. GREAT TO KNOW!!! Thanks! How long was your hospital stay?
  21. JessicaAnn asked: What is it? http://asmbs.org/2012/06/new-study-points-to-possible-role-for-robotics-in-bariatric-surgery-results-show-low-short-term-complication-rate-and-zero-mortality/ http://thesop.org/story/20120520/first-robotic-bariatric-surgery-performed-at-st-lukes-university-hospitalbethlehem.html I will be having it done in Omaha, NE
  22. Has anyone had the robotic surgery? I will be having it July 5th. I agreed to this and the surgeon said I would possibly have a quicker recovery time and a different type of stiches will be used. Just wondered the average hospital stay and recovery time. Or do you think it did not make much of a difference?
