  1. I got this recipe off here and oh it's so freaking good Baked ricotta 8oz ricotta 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese 1t. Italian seasoning 1lg egg Salt and pepper 1/2 cup marinara sauce (I used 1/2 cup sun dried tomato alfrado sauce 1/2 cup low fat mozzarella cheese Mix ricotta cheese,parmesan cheese, beaten egg, and seasonings together. Place in oven dish pour sauce over top then top with mozzarella cheese. Bake 450 for 20-25 min. 6 servings 88 cal. 4 fat. 3.3 carbs and 9.2 Protein
  2. i was given 4 weeks off and i go back for my post op on Jan 7 then we decided if i can return but i'm ready
  3. I was given 4-6 weeks off because i'm in the job field where i could possible be hit and he was worried about getting hit in the stomach but honestly i was ready to go back to work by the second week

    I'm day 16 post op and i've been doing really great so far. Yesterday had a major bout with nausea i think due to constipation (tmi?lol) but today man oh man i've been craving a diet dr pepper so bad!! I can't wait until the day i'm able to drink just a sip of one but i'm trying not to focus on what i'm missing instead of what i'm gaining by losing this weight!
  5. Best of luck!!! Plus you are extremely lucky for no drainage tube!! that hurt like crazy. made my chest hurt when i walked then removing it was extremely painful but i would gladly do it all over again

I thought i wouldn't be able to swallow pills but one of the vitamins that was prescribed to me is like a typical pill size and the first few days it hurt to swallow with only an oz of water but now it's fine (day 15) I use to pop ibuprofen like crazy because of being over weight my feet hurt but my doc said no more but honestly i'm walking 40 min's a day like i was told to do and my feet really don't hurt anymore. Good luck!!
  7. Mine said 2 yrs. i actually had to sign a paper saying we would not try to get pregnant for two years but that's no worries to me as i've had 2 and my husband is fixed.
  8. my surgeon told me never. He said it passes straight through the stomach and to the liver without being dilated. now i don't know how true that is but yellow isn't a good skin color for me so i'll take his word and keep my liver healthy
  9. I know all about the money! i'm lucky enough that i only had to put down $2500 and my parents paid that and i get to make payments to them. it's hard with a family of four on one income but it's well worth it. Good luck
  10. i'm 15 days out and i still have pain if i try to swallow too big. i just seriously sip everything to prevent the pain but defiantly call the doc
  11. just wondering why you had to have an egd? i didn't have to
  12. if i swallow too big of a drink i would get pain in like my breast bone. the gas thing i just had to walk and walk plus my doctor recommend a laxative. hope that helps
  13. i'm day 15 post op and i made this tonight except with red sauce and omg it's the best thing i've put in my mouth in a month!!! Thanks for sharing

  16. I was shocked that on the first two weeks after surgery the liquid phase my surgeon wanted me to eat 4 oz a meal which since it's soup it would take about an hour to do it but i managed
  17. i made home made potato soup (ham, cheese, milk, & potato) i put it in the blender and enjoyed! I guess it was around day 6 i just added more skim milk to mine.
  18. just a question i'm 14 days out and bandages removed i have two incisions that are puckered and two that are flat. does anyone else have that problem?
  19. B 3 oz banana nut oatmeal L 2 oz turkey chili with bean D 3 oz chicken salad w/egg S sugar free pudding 32 oz of water mixed with 100% juice working on 30 oz of water now

  22. i had my sleeve DEC 3 2012. I'm not going to lie i woke up thinking what did i do? i'm now post op day 14 and love this new life! i don't know how much weight I've lost other than pre op because i'm trying my best to weight until my first post op appointment so i can have a big number! any tips yall can give me on food recipes would be greatly appreciated
