UHOH....

Today I am 11 days post op and I am still on the full liquid diet until Thurs and I decided to puree some potato soup and had some. It was the consistancy of really runny mashed potatoes and some light apple juice. I find myself feeling somewhat weird now. A little fast heart rate but not sick. Did I just majorly screw up?? Anyone else expierence something like this?

Thank yall!! I feel better now. Im sure you are absolutely right! My stomach was prob thinking finally youve decided to feed me again!! As well as my guilt over jumping ahead a few days. It was really runny so Im prob ok im sure its gone straight thru or maybe i did eat to much but i think i just paniced there!! LOL!!

i made home made potato soup (ham, cheese, milk, & potato) i put it in the blender and enjoyed! I guess it was around day 6 i just added more skim milk to mine.

I am getting sleeved on wednesday and my mom-in-law is making me her famous potato soup and is going to blend it for me for xmas....I told her I'll only need 2 tsp. lol Hope it fairs well for me. Wish me luck!

I get a fast heart rate and a clammy, sweaty feeling when I eat a high sugar item. My wife made these delicious cake puffs made with velvet cake mixed with frosting. They are quite irresistable but were made for the non-bariatric among us. One of them overcame me and I paid dearly for my lack of fortitude.

I was shocked that on the first two weeks after surgery the liquid phase my surgeon wanted me to eat 4 oz a meal which since it's soup it would take about an hour to do it but i managed
