  14. Menstrual Cycle. I'm aware things are thing to be way messed up and getting back together due to my weight loss but I'm starting to think I've got a problem. I was on my period going into surgery...no big deal they got me through it but I've been on my period SINCE my surgery December 6th. Ive got light days and ive got heavy days. I don't have insurance so I'm going to get some insight here first. I will call my sleeve doctor but I know they will refer me to a obgyn. Yuck idk but I gotta figure this out and fast!!
  15. If I don't drink protein shakes I will not lose weight? Im on my fourth week and at a stall. I know this is typical but I can't get any protein shakes down! Haven't been able to since post op. I eat protein tuna, turkey, cheese and in very very small portions but im afraid im not gonna lose weight because of this... Anyone else further down the road had this situation?? Im so nervous I am ruining my chances here =/

    True Or False

Ya I actually did three weeks of protein shakes prior to surgery and they were great its post op they've bothered me. Ive bought so many different ones, mixed them different ways, tried them cold and room temp they just give me a terrible stomach ache. I found a lighter premade one that I can somewhat tolerate just today but still feet quite a stomach ache ... My doctor said it will take time to tolerate things. I can have pretty much any food on my list without any kind of problems but the shakes are though. Same with milk as far as liquids go water is the only thing that doesn't bother me...

    True Or False

So the actual liquid doesn't increase the weight loss? I just don't want to be the one person that doesnt lose because I can't do the protein shakes

    *signs* Stall !

I feel the same way!!! Ill be the person that doesn't lose anything!! Ive lost 32 since my surgery but for atleast a week now im staying at 223-225 i don't know why im not doing anything wrong, exercising and couldn't over eat if I wanted too. I can't eat hardly anything for portions!!
  19. 3 week.stall for me too ... Ill be amazed if I get through this and start losing again =/!!!
  20. Im on week four post op today and the protein post is killing me. I'm at a stall not losing anything and I'm sure it is because I'm not getting enough liquid protein in although I don't eat anything hardly and only drink water. Before surgery I had no problem with the shakes but there is not one I have found I can force down now... I've been at a stall for atleast a week now if not longer I'm getting a little discouraged but know this is part of the process

    Chills

Yes!!!!!! Its crazy I used to run around with flip flops and shorts around the house in winter and I cant seem to bundle up enough now!!! Im constantly freezing wearing socks boots heater at work!!! Crazy to have these similarities u can relate with on here, too funny!!!
  22. Im on week three going into week four. What's everyones daily intake. I found early on that protein shakes were making me sick so I don't drink to many ive pretty much been eating cheese or deli turkey and recently find turkey balls with a all natural, marinana or tuna salad about ask i eat and very small quantities of them but I have only lost 3 lbs this wk so I feel I'm either over eating or I'm not eating the right things to continue my loss any insight would be great!!! Thank you guys!!!!!
