Thank you guys!!! With taking the biotin out hair and nail supplements do I have to take any precautions or can I just go buy it and take it? My hair is so thin anyway I know it's worth it I'm just not looking forward to this minor side effect!

Doors any one know when I can start stomach exercises. I'm doing cardio and arm workouts but I'm afraid my stomach is bring neglected I'm 14 days out and still a little sore on my left side

Everyone had their slips. Don't beat yourself up but I've noticed if I trek myself I'm the exception and I'm not gonna lose weight etc I notice I don't stay on track. You need to stay positive and tell yourself you can and are going to do this one cookie isn't alot in terms of a meal which is probably why you didn't have to many problems keeping it down!! You're going to do this, this is just one of your down times!! Keep your head up!!!

Ya I completely agree and it totally sucks too because you're are so dang hungry but I was in the same boat I was self pay and hasn't got the final approval but had a date so I had to start it the same way but ya it's not gonna hurt to eat if ur still losing =)

The research I did proves your theory. If you lose the weight thats ultimately what shrinks your liver the liquids are merely to help with the transition for after the surgery. I ate maybe 4-6 low calorie meals in my 12 day liquid diet stage. I lost plenty to shrink my liver and still got the jist for after surgery and I was just fine... My two cents. Good luck, when is your surgery date?

December 6th ... This year im 12 days out and almost onto moochy foods yayayy!!! Thats exciting Hoehn is awesome and absolutely gorgeous so its a two for one deal lol. I was self pay so it moved REALLY fast but they are really good about getting you in when you want after you've got your pysch and dietician approval!! Where are you in that process and are you ins or self pay?? @Holli thats super exciting I'm in overland park too!!! AND I looove the thrift stores!!!

I slipped a couple times pre-op we are human!! I know personally the liquid diet or any diet prior to surgery was TERRIBLE!! You still have that ungodly feeling of hunger snd knowing you can eat it etc after surgery its so much easier to follow the rules and you do alot better with doing what you're suppose to...I wouldn't lie but I wouldn't go out of your way to tell all the details you are trying and working on it which I feel matters most!! Good luck, I hope it all works out!!

Welcome!!! I started at 255 too!! Good luck on your journey it's an exciting change. I'm 11 days post op and can't believe still its happened...it will come so quick!!! I'm happy for you!!!

Omg too funny I'm on day 11 too and a friend made me potato soup!! That is hilarious!!! I think you will be fine it probably threw a curve ball in ur mind and stomach I know I feel like I just ate a steak but feeling ok! On day 6 i ate to much of an egg and got that feeling and was told its effects of over eating...hope it calms down for ya!!
