  4. From my experience.....I can't get my husband off of me. He's like a dog in heat. I swear he follows me humping air. On a side note certain positions are now a little too deep so I avoid that but we've been married 15 yrs I've been waiting for what other couples complain about only having sex like 2X a month. I'm sitting here like what? Try at least 3-4x a week!

Thank you all and yes I've tried making sure I didn't offend her or something is wrong but if it has she won't open up which we've shared everything in the past so I'm just dont know anymore :/
  6. I bought thick bandage and covered that one when I needed to wear a bra and then 4 mons latter same freaking spot when they took my gallbladder out.
  7. My response was always "we'll thank you for your opinion, but I'm really excited to have this tool to help me but bless your heart for thinking of me" that tends to shut people down but I do live in the south and anytime u say bless your heart that signals end of discussion

I know prior to surgery I read on here about people saying they lost friends. I was like how sad but I've got great girls we'll be fine. I made it appoint to never bring up weight loss unless asked because I don't want that to be the only thing I'm known for talking about. One of my very very good friends came and spent both nights with me at the hospital so my husband could go home to take care of our kids. We were pretty close. Talking on FB chat nightly for hours going to lunches, concerts, movies, you name it. Well I'm at my 6 mon post op and she's gone and my heart hurts. I've tried talking to her and all she says is "oh just busy with work" I don't see why she would be jealous she's got a few extra lbs but nothing she couldn't fix on her own. Oh well I just decided tonight that I will no longer be the first to strike up a conversation or go out of my way to try to be friends when it's not as important. Maybe she'll come around maybe she won't but I'm really hoping she's the only one I loose.

Yes I love having it. It keeps me on track. I keep seeing people and I can tell oh they think I've cheated but they do t know its a lot of work no sugar no bad fats lean protein low carb low calorie now tell a former fat girl to cook. Lol I love skinny moms .com cause they so helped me. Good luck to you!
  10. Don't get me wrong I'm excited at the success ive made but my goal is 160 perfectly I would like to see 140 but here lately now that I've gotten off a 100lb I'm starting to worry that I won't see either of those numbers :/

I'm happy to say I reached my 100lb mark (second mile stone) in 5 months! I'm comfortable wearing shorts around family which i haven't done it years! I've started couch25K as well. I would have never thought I'd be running! My goal is to run in the color me rad 5k next summer. I'm extremely happy with my success and I hope everyone else is enjoying this tool we've been given!
  13. Beef is a no go. I stick with chicken, fish, & turkey I use to be able to eat marinara sauce but this now makes me so nauseated!

Oh no worries. Things went really well. Pain wasn't too bad compared to sleeve. I always have a bad time waking up and nausea but its day 4 since surgery and just sore so I think I'm on the road to recovery!
  15. Yoga pants are a must. I prefer anything with a drawl string so I can wear them longer.
  16. I found in the beginning warm liquids went down easier. I'm 4 months out and still takes longer to get cold liquids down. For some reason warm is easy
  17. I was there. My husband stopped at McDonald's because he was hungry. I had to sit in the truck starving and weak and smell the chicken nuggets and French fries. I was so mad at him I didn't speak to him for a few days. I'm four months post op and now can go order his and the kids good and drive home it doesn't effect me now.

  21. I'm 4 months post op and I too looked forward to most things on your list. I'm proud to say last month we went to Disneyland and I rode every ride! Now I'm looking forward to a family portrait. Haven't done one since kids were little but I'm waiting until I reach goal for that. Water park ill go this summer. I won't feel all that comfortable but it's a step. My one biggest goal is I want VS panty & Bra set. Just one to say I fit! Lol
