3 days post op

I had my surgery june 10 I'm three days post op and I must admit the beginning was a struggle I feel much better now still haven't been able to actually eat anything but I'm trying to stay hydrated which is extremely hard because I don't want to eat or drink anything! I'm really bloated. I'm using the pain meds often I need them. I can't wait to be myself again.

I agree--day 3 was sucksville. After that, it was smooth sailing :)

I thought the first week sucked. BUT after that it got better and better. I'm now 6 weeks out and I have lost 36 lbs. This surgery will pay off, all of us have gone through buyers remorse. Just listen to your doc, exercise and follow the food rules to allow your new tummy to heal. You will do great!

My surgery was the same day- June 10th. I'm really hoping it gets better! I am having lots of incision pain in one spot and the left shoulder gas pain is keeping me up at night. Praying for relief!

My back is killing me and I can't stop sleeping I feel sooo bloated its horrible I just want this to go away I had a small bite of fish today and I'm full the Protein shakes are nasty can't really drink Water but I have the Popsicles

If your back is killing you you may be dehydrated. That is a sign. I'd call your doc to be safe!!

Try standing for a while holding onto something to keep the circulation going. It's day 2 post op for me and I'm sore. I have a little shoulder pain from gas and when I drink I can feel it going down. Has anyone else experienced the weird sensation when drinking?
