Pain when i swallow anything

Hi! I'm 8 days post op today but every time I eat or drink anything it just hurts and I get gas. How long does this take to go away? Could it be a sign of something else? Thanks guys!

But was it this far out? Shouldn't it have gone Away already?

I had that for a few weeks and it is now gone. It was like learning to swallow all over again-I was very sore. Any concerns should be discussed with a doc just to make sure-but it sounds like nothing too serious...again, check with the doc if you are worried :)

Good luck! :)

i'm 15 days out and i still have pain if i try to swallow too big. i just seriously sip everything to prevent the pain but defiantly call the doc

Yes that's exactly what's happening. The warm drinks don't feel bad. Does that go away?
