  1. Thank you guys so much. I know we all get discouraged but I'm going to keep trying. I'm 5' 1.5" pretty short. I'm still considered obese at my new weight. I guess we are never happy with our bodies. I just want to see that 145 on the scale. I have to make it happen. Thank you again for your encouragement. I know we can do it!! This is the best decision we made.
  2. I started at 222 I am now 156 and I love my body but my goal is 145 and Im at a 6 week stall. I just had surgery on my foot and I can't exercise for at least 2 weeks. I'm really stressed that I will gain weight just laying here. I'm hungry all the time. I'm able to eat bigger portions as well. I can't go back ever! I am just praying that this stall ends and that I can eat healthy again and this hunger goes away.
  3. I waited 3 weeks I'm a lush. I was fine. no beer and No carbonated drinks. Wine is goo just drink slow.
  4. Thank you guys for your feedback. I totally understand the hoarding. I had so many shirts and dressed that I wouldn't get rid of because I felt I was giving up. I can wear those now yay!
  5. Ooh thank you ladies. They aren't falling yet but hopefully soon. I just got a cute top from a clearance rack. Now I just need a skirt or dress.
  6. Dianne38 I respect you for being honest. Not everyone is perfect like these people with so much self control! I understand what you mean by they take it so seriously, you didn't mean that your health is not important. Enjoy your life and be happy!
  7. I am down 29lbs and my clothes is a little loose but I am only 5 weeks post op and I know I will lose more. When did y'all start buying clothes. I have a Vegas trip next week and I want to at least get a dress. I don't know what do you think? What if I haven't gone down a size? I'm sure I have I just don't want to jump the gun.
  8. I drank 3 weeks after was told 6 months because of calories. I want to say it hit a little faster but no big difference. No hangover. I will never have beer again I don't miss that fat bloated feeling you would get the next few days. So I do vodka and cranberry when I go out or a screwdriver. Not a big deal. But now I'm conscious of the calories.
  9. Thank you do much. Unfortunately I hit a stall. Hope it doesn't last.
  10. Thank you. They say it goes Away but I'm over here thinking Really I have to diet? If I could do that I wouldn't have had this surgery. Plus I only eat like a bird already. I can't do wxtre exercise either. So frustrated.
  11. I was 219 when I started I am now 197.6 I was at 196 the sat before New Years. How can I possibly have gained 2 almost 2lbs. I have not been getting all my water. It's still uncomfortable to drink a lot. I have not had any protein. I will start again tomorrow. I barely eat about 700 Cals a day. I don't understand. Is it possible that I will not lose More? Did anyone else go through this? I'm really upset.
  12. I had two drinks three weeks out. I was fine. Went away fast. It's not worth the calorie intake but I'm a lush.
  13. Thank you so much. When I see this I feel like all the hard work is totally worth it and I can't wait for it to be three months. This has been so hard on me guys a total change of lifestyle. I am so grateful to God that I'm ok so far.

  17. Me too! I'm at McDonald's as we speak. I took a sip of my son's coke but that was it. I just can't think all this sacrifice for nothing if I return to it. It's so hard.
  18. I'm going to be week 4 for New Years and I think I'll have some wine.
  19. This has by far been the hardest thing I have ever done. I had no idea what I was getting Into.forget the physical aspect , the mental is so much more than I can handle. I'm so hungry it's the holidays I have cried and cried about doing this. But people just keep saying to keep my eye on the prize. I can't even drink protein it's so gross and it hurts every time I swallow. I'm hungry all the time. I ate eggs and retried beans today I wasn't supposed to until Monday. I'm terrified of a leak no one really told us about leaks. I know what you mean this is so hard but it will be over soon. Hang in there.
  20. When you guys say purée do you actually blend the food and the. Eat it. Meats too? I don't think I could swallow that. I had surgery 12/11 and I just absolutely had to have some eggs and RF beans tonight I had like 3 bites and I was full. I'm supposed to start purée until Monday but I broke. If I see another soup I will gag.
  21. Yes that's exactly what's happening. The warm drinks don't feel bad. Does that go away?
