  1. I was off a week with the sleeve and hernia repair but I have a desk job and everyone's recovery is different.
  2. One week liquid, three week purée and two weeks soft.
  3. Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to try!
  4. It's been 4 weeks.... Sleeved on 3/25! HW 243 SW 232 CW 212
  5. I felt pretty good too... I chalk it up to the anesthesiologist put a scopolamine patch on me before the OR and my physician inserted an On Q pump into my abdomen..., continuously administers numbing/pain med into the abdomen thru a small tube via one the incisions. I think these two things made my recovery easier.
  6. My MD suggested. I have a heart necklace. Says... My name Gastric Sleeve No blind NGs No NSAIDS
  7. I didn't have a drain or foley either. Will be 3 weeks post op Monday.
  8. Can you add me to FB Jmollo77@att.net Thank you!
  9. Sleeved on 3/25... major bruising and some itching... healing well.
  10. Congratulations! You are an inspiration to us newbies!
  11. I went for my first post-OP visit yesterday (sleeved on 3/25). Started on phase 2 which includes eggs, cottage cheese pudding, etc...
  12. I never crushed either... nothing larger than regular aspirin... otherwise cut.
  13. Sleeved on the 25th... everyday gets better. Was able to have cottage cheese last evening after seeing the MD... 2 ozs were delicious!
  14. Sending prayers your way for a smooth journey!
  15. I had a hernia repair too. The area around my belly button is very bruised! Had a lot of gas the first couple of days but has decreased significantly!
  16. St. Louis, MO... sleeved on 3/25. Very smooth recovery... no nausea, vomiting and minimal pain. Am getting protein in with 2 premier shakes and injury chicken soup. Sipping all day long to get the 64oz fluid requirement. Biggest challenge is figuring out the vitamins. Lots to take! Should be able to advance to phase 2 diet after MD visit tomorrow.
