I had my 1st PB today, in the car!!! YUK, it was a cooked baby carrot, I thought I chewed it enough, I was driving my daughter and thought oh, crap, so this is what it feels like!!! It was over in a matter of 15 minutes, (i timed it), and it did come up. Live and Learn!! Patty
  5. Nurse4126, I began the process in late November and had my surgery in February. I had surgery at 8:30 am and I left the hospital at 4:30 pm. I was so happy that I could go home. My surgeon was Dr Tarnoff. They have a great program at Tufts. The next post op support group is Monday, April 4th at 5:45 pm. It was after my 1st support group that I made my decision. The website is http://www.obesityconsult.com Good luck!! Patty

  17. I just came from my 2 week post op appointment. I lost 18 lbs. since last seen in the Dr office. Actually 15 post op. I have lost 30 lbs all together since January. I can begin mushies today. My nutritionist said I will lose more weight and at a faster rate if I continue the liquid phase, which makes sense. I just dont know how long I can keep up this phase. I am not physically hungry, but I feel mentally hungry, if you know what I mean. Has anyone continued phase 3 longer than the 2 weeks post surgery? Thanks!! Patty 280/250/150

  23. I got called by a local casting office for the 1st run of Biggest Loser. I am basically a private person, I didnt go for the audition. Plus there was no way I could leave my job and kids for 10 weeks. My older daughter did a phone audition for the 2nd run. Is that the one they are still casting. My daughter auditioned months ago. I wish anyone who gives it a try the best wishes. It just wasnt my thing. Patty
