1st post op Dr appt

I just came from my 2 week post op appointment. I lost 18 lbs. since last seen in the Dr office. Actually 15 post op. I have lost 30 lbs all together since January.

I can begin mushies today. My nutritionist said I will lose more weight and at a faster rate if I continue the liquid phase, which makes sense. I just dont know how long I can keep up this phase. I am not physically hungry, but I feel mentally hungry, if you know what I mean.

Has anyone continued phase 3 longer than the 2 weeks post surgery?

Thanks!!

Patty

Patty,

I am so proud of you! You are leaving me WAY in the dust on your weightloss! I had my postop appt. on Monday. I've only lost 7 lbs. since surgery and 11lbs since my initial weigh-in.

I actually do feel hungry from time to time, and it's not just in my head. I've really enjoyed the last couple days of mushy. I've had some refried Beans and some chicken salad blended to a paste that ended up being DELICIOUS. I broke down and bought one of those magic bullets that everyone is raving about and I'm glad that I did.

So while I'm jealous that you are "beating" me...I'm so proud of your accomplishments. My next appointment is in 6 weeks and that's when he said we would talk about my first fill.

Good Luck!

Thanks Nicole,

You are doing great!!! I have lots more to lose than you so it will come off a little bit faster. Congratulations on your weight loss!!!!! I havent got one of those "magic bullets" yet, but I will.

I have my next appt in 4 weeks, thats when I'll get my 1st fill.

We'll see how I do then. Keep up the great work!!

Patty
