  3. I changed my name! (aka nurselisa22) Its a blessing and a curse- I have a sleeve of steel :-) I will be 3 months out on November 9th and I can tolerate anything and everything. Which is nice, but also can lead to some poor food choices. Is anyone else able to tolerate everything??? I am doing well to stick to the protien first- I have my eye on the prize. I am happy to say I am 4lbs away from the 100s for the fist time since high school and I am in size 16 jeans (was a 24 at one point)- and I am feeling cute! Yay! Progress pics with be posted ASAP.
  4. I eat 1200 a day and I'm down 50 lbs in 11 weeks. :-)
  5. fish and tartar sauce all the way :-)
  6. you look amazing, you were pretty in the before pic too, but wow look at you!! Congrats!
  7. I am hoping for the best I am almost 3 months out and have not lost any! And I am up to 1200 cals min. a day-- that helps. I am 50lbs down since surgery.
  8. I didn't for the first 2 or 3 weeks because extra air can get in your tummy but I use one everyday now and have since 1 month out.
  9. I'm nearly 3 months out down fifty + pounds and eating 1200 calories a day. Do you need to stay so low on the cals? I don't lose unless I get 1000+ cals in.
  10. That was my only reservation- wasting my money!!! We'll see!
  11. I tried it and it worked but I didnt have enough willpower to do it on my own and maintain. Thats why I chose the sleeve. I know with my sleeve I could/ can.
  12. I was told no "nevers" :-)
  13. thanks girl, you are so sweet! :-) I think I will try it!
  14. My roommate wants to lose weight and he said he will go to weight watchers If I go with him, and I was thinking it might keep me motivated if I know I need to weigh in every week!! I am pretty sure I can't eat quite enough points yet-- but in a few months I will??
  15. I am sorry to hear that you guys. I want to provide some hope for others-- I am at nearly 3 months and I hate to say this but i have not lost any hair! I am hoping I am out of the woods because I am eating 1200 cals a day and take all my vitamins and biotin everyday. I hope I didn't just ruin my luck by saying this outloud!!!!
  16. I do the target brand children's sour gummy. It's a treat and approved by my NUT. Tastes like candy. I am not afraid of carbs.
  17. Does anyone still attend meetings with the sleeve?
  18. This is soooo normal. It might not move for another week or 2 but when it starts again you will drop a lot of weight fast again. Hang in there and keep doing what you are doing!
  19. I had a beer one month out at a wedding and my dad's 60th birthday party and I was fine. Just sip slowly and enjoy. I do drink reglarly just special occasions! Just be smar.t
  20. i had no restrictions but start off slow and easy. Peaches went well at first, and banana. Then try little bites of anything that sounds good. Really cooked carrots and brocoli were good too early on. I am eating salad even now at 10 weeks out!
  21. Congrats, that is so exciting!!
  22. Welcome and congrats on your surgery :-)
  23. Wow, Libbe! I am so sorry you have had the worst luck so far! I am thinking good thoughts for you and wish you a speedy recovery.
  24. I am eating all normal foods now at about 10 weeks out. I have been since about 6 weeks. I eat very slowly. A normal meal is half an english muffin with peanut butter, 1/2 can of tuna with miracle whip and 4 crackers, 1/2 banana, 1/3 of a frozen entre like a lean cuisine, 1 poached egg with haldfa slice of toast, etc. I spread the meal out over 20 mins of time. I have no problems now, but at 1 month out I got the slimes like 3 or 4 times.
